Bug:
Social checker addon becomes unresponsive if aborted in between or after end of full checking cycle. I am using 10 threads only and checking for around 1500 urls

Suggestions:
There are a few things which if implemented can help people searching for domains like me
1. Domain Age Checker to check domain age using archive.org / waybackmachine & historical whois (if possible)
2. Domain Availability Checker to check if domain is available for registration (you can add your affiliate link to registrar if you want). Whois scraper does not fully help in this as I find domains are not available for registration even where there is no info in whois scraper.

Do you get an error box when you abort? If so choose to not send report and in your main scrapebox folder you will have a bugreport.txt file, send that to support.

If you get no error box and it just freezes with "not responding" forever or if it stays frozen but you can move the window around etc... then its likely that a 3rd party software is interring and locking the sockets or crashing some other element. So make sure you have it set as allowed in anti-virus, firwalls, malware checkers etc... Also you can try closing down all non needed software like utorrent, skype etc... anything that connects to the internet can interfere.

HAHA! I try to reply to everyone, but Im in the middle of trying to sell my house and move 2000 miles, plus my kids are doing things like having their tonsils removed (4yr old and 5 yr old at the same time 3 weeks ago) and starting swim lessons (today) and doc apps and then there is trying to make some money tossed in there etc.. LOL Not a sob story, just rabbit trailing for no good reason.

It does the second bit i.e. it just freezes but it does not show "not responding" and I am still able to click buttons on the window (i.e. it is not greyed out like a "not responding" window) , I will check with other software disabled. btw, other scrapebox addons and scrapebox main is working fine its only this addon which freezes. I cant reproduce it. When I abort, the abort button will be grayed out, and it start populating the status column of the grid with "Aborted" and stop (does it do the same for you?).
It is designed to finish the active thread first, then abort. So it might "hang" at a site until the timeout happen (after about 60 seconds), which gives you the impression it is freezing.

The default settings are generally best unless you have a good reason to change them. As for the useragent, just choose any that you like. Some sites block certain useragents so if your having an issue then select a different one.

If you need to reset all your settings you can go to help >> reset all settings.

In your scrapebox folder you will find a folder called Harvester_Sessions that has all the links you scraped.

There is no real time logging for the harvester, so you would just have to run it again and remove duplicate urls.

I am also using the scrapebox since last two years and it's a awesome tool to post the comment of thousands of blogs. Scrapebox is very user friendly software and i hope you will like it when you will use it. I like two option in scrapebox first is Outbound link checker and second is Backlink checker. These thing i did not find on any other software or tool.

I'm not having any issues. Could be minor issues at some server(s) between you and SB servers.

IMHO, scrapebox is a must for full/part time IM'ers.

Took about 6 hours for them to activate my SB. I requested a transfer on the 13th. Only 6 hours later, I was up and scraping.
