This is a simple and general question, I know.
Does anyone know what yahoo and bing look for in their ranking criteria? Please post. thanks

are they have the same criteria with google? I also looking for an answer. since I started doing SEO I olny focus on google's ranking because as all we know googles's dominated the internet.

just ranked a website on both bing and yahoo - no clue how I did it. Built 4 other sites at the same time and they get nothing from B&Y

Bing and Yahoo are like Google 10 years ago. Find an older SEO tutorial and you will do just fine. Keywords seem to be more important with them, but traffic is kinda poor.

Bing and Yahoo!'s secret algorithm have been leaked for years now, their function is well known:

Code:
function rank(search) {
  return random(search)
}

Yeah there ya go Jewradly, you don't need their traffic! :fing26:

I will have to disagree with that part of your statement - Bing traffic seems to be a little higher class than Google's. Not sure about Yahoo though.

I think traffic is traffic regardless of the source, if they legit traffic then it should be converting.

High Quality Content+Powerful Backlinks is the key and most search engines look for those.

As I know they are all looking for the same: good on-page optimization, wise off-page SEO, awesome work with the keywords and maybe some ads.
