Have you ever thought about promoting your blog offline? Anyone else here tried this? I have been contemplating making flyers and putting them in crowded areas. I have heard of people even putting banners on their car. I know not everyone would want people to know they were the owner of their site though. Yahoo answers and classified ads is another to add to the list.

Get Quality backlinks from other sites...And update useful and interesting informations in your blog for that you have more visitors...along with addsence and make a twitter profile get some real followers
make a fb page in oder to get some real likes...enjoy..

Update your blog more often and be sure to create good quality, unique, and interesting articles. Make it known to your friends, maybe you can post it on your own Facebook wall. Participate on Facebook groups with same niche, participate on forums, and engage on some conversation on twitter and share your interesting content.

We have tons of the same generic answers like "Oh dude - use social media, yeeeah!"
C'mon guys...

Im actually just reading as I want to learn too, but all I see is THE SAME answers over and over just "rephrased" haha.

Post Original content.Never copy (which i done in my initial stages,btw learned from the error)
Create Fb like page and Twitter account.Social media is one major factor for promoting.

Once again, promoting blogs with Google is freaking expensive.
There are plenty of options where you can buy inexpensive and quality traffic from.

FB, Ad networks, content discovery networks, etc.
