Backlinking for a white hat site?

I have some questions about backlinking on a big site,
I have a high profile site and was wondering if i set up a 2,0 site like wordpress and link it to my site would this be safe?


Also any one know any good places to buy some links?

Depends on how you do it. Yeah it is safe to create web 2.0s like Wordpress and other HIGH PR sites.

Use unique quality content, proper paragraphs, and try focusing on making the web 2.0 to look like a quality site, multiple articles, images, etc.

The 2.0 is set up and nice but i should of stated i was talking about using something like xrumer? building up the backlinks for my 2.0 and then having them link to my site! is this white hat safe?

Build a blog site and fill it with good quality content for blogs, and create back links which will have real value

Tier 1 >> Backlinks to your site
Tier 2 >> Backlinks to Tier 1 Backlinks
Tier 3 >> Backlinks to Tier 2 Backlinks
and so on

For Tier 1 you need quality , unique content, etc. You definatly do not want to use xrumer for tier 1. Build nice web 2.0 blogs, with images, lots of content etc.

Then Tier 2, for indexing tier 1 and so on, you should use like social bookmarks, wiki backlinks and such. You shouldn't just think "oh tier 2, it can be the worst quality and it won't matter".

There is a lot more to SEO than just building backlinks, you have to have proper keywords, with natural ones too, with the URL etc. You should make it look as natural as possible.

Your on-site SEO is VERY IMPORTANT, most under-estimate the power of on-site SEO.

I would recommend to use different social accounts( google+, facebook, twitter, etc. ), blogs( wordpress, etc. )
