Depends, if you hit start does it go thru and give you numbers next to the urls you are loading in?
Its working for me, when you run it, is the date updating? If the date is not updating then the IP is most likely blocked in google.

The dates are not updating. Possible but when I check with another rank tracker that I have with the same proxies, it does pull SERPs from Google. I'll keep trying.

Can you give a few examples? Like if you are using https it won't work, etc... so if you can give a few urls to test with I will check it out.
I tested it with and without proxies and its pulling all the rank for multiple projects, I only tested it with google specifically.
If your ip isn't blocked, you could try to edit a project and have it not use proxies and make sure you click the update project button so it saves it, then tick off a few keywords as a test and see if it works.
I replied to your PM with more detail, but yeah, should be fine, I would just make sure you randomize your lists.

If you have too old of a version then it may be trying to contact old update servers, also if your permission settings are wrong then it could be an issue.
Just try downloading a fresh copy.

Hey after about a week of messing around with this tool, I must say im glad i bought it, it really is fantastic. I do have one question though. For the connection settings, how many connections should i have open for link harvesting, and pr checker? My internet speed is about 12 mbps.

I think its a subjective question in that Majestic crawls the internet and houses their own database of info and you are paying to get that info. Where as scrapebox is scraping the engines and you are not paying the engines for that info. Therefor the engines are not going to give you near as much for free or as detailed as you get when you pay majestic or use their private data.
So yes you can use the backlink checker addon and such to get the backlinks. Then you could remove duplicate domains that would get you down to the domain level and then you could use the domain resolver addon to get the IP addresses of the domains.
It depends, are you using proxies? Typically you want your harvester and pr checking settings to be 10%-20% of your proxies. Meaning if you have 100 proxies set your connections to 10-20. If you have 10 proxies set it to 1-2 connections.
Tried several times before and sent email to support again .

Tried again yesterday after I replaced the proxies and it works fine now. You were right that the cause was probably blocked proxies. Thanks

Also pmed you about something else we have been talking about. Make sure you have @scrapebox.com white listed. They always reply to me, have for 3 years now.
I just double checked that I had the V 1.0.0.5 of the backlink checker installed, then I put in only
http://www.test.com
Then I hit start, it came back saying 11,288 backlinks. Then I hit download and saved to file. When the addon said completed I opened the file and there are 1000 urls in there. (1000 is the max you can download because of limits that the source sets).
Try it with just that 1 url, does it work? If not then you have something on your machine interfering with the download and/or your IP(s) are blocked. So make sure you add allow rules in all security software and make sure you try it with fresh proxies etc...

you suggested previously when scraping Google, we should use 5 times more proxies than the number of scraping threads. For example if I have 50 private proxies, I should use 10 scraping threads.
Now that we have a lot more search engines to scrape from, not just Google, we should use more threads right? So if I have 50 private proxies and I scrape using 20 engines, then I should use 50/5*20=200 threads? Will Scrapebox distribute the threads evenly between search engines?
