It's just with all those popular wordpress captcha blogs. I am always sorting out recaptcha and other captchas. What's interesting recatpcha is not appearing twice the same - despite captcha sniper is not able to solve it. What are the best connection settings? I tried even 1 thread with various timeout, but it always hangs after like few thousands links being processed.

Its hard because there are so many things on sites that could interfere that the custom harvester can freeze sometimes. Ive had that happen, but not generally quite that quickly. I run it at 10 connections most of the time when filtering a list.

Im not sure without seeing it in action in a debugger why the same captcha is getting handed to captcha sniper multiple times in a row. ReCaptcha always rotate in my experience.

Sent a few questions to support and still no reply.. I purchased scapebox from the site when I realized I could of gotten it for 40$ cheaper here.. Can someone pls respond to my support email that I have.. The email I sent it from is yvant9826 at gmail.com

Its all good, Im always happy to help, but I just found that when I started asking questions to people only after I had researched that I learned more. Because when you enter into that research mind set you always gain more if not much more then you set out to find and that is when real growth happens. After all, If you keep doing the same things you have always done then you keep getting the same things you have always gotten. Thats ok if you like what your getting.

You can scrape anything you want, but its only going to post blog comments/trackbacks etc... So you can't build wikis with scrapebox, but you could make a comment on a edu blog or gov blog.

Bing changed the resource scrapebox was using, so it effectively broke it. I let the scrapebox dev team know.

Do you know if Bing Scraping/Harvester and "Check Indexed" capability be fixed soon? Or no more Bing for scrapebox?

Bing Scraping is fine, it never broke.

Bing banned US IPs from using the check indexed resource that scrapebox was using. IPs from elsewhere in the world still worked fine.

However I am using a pre release version of .68 and its working fine with my US office IP, so Im going to "assume" its fixed already in the next update.

Shift Key. You click the first one, then hold down the shift key and click the last one that you want to select. Although Ctrl click also works for me.

Slow poster uses internet explorer rendering engine. IE has more issues then one forum could possibly contain, but basically if a url has something on it that causes IE to freeze it will cause sbox to freeze too. I have a video on it here though:

Ok so how do you select all proxies at once? shift-up, shift-pgup, control-up, control-pgup doesn't seem to work. Also does Scrapebox automatically detect SOCKS proxies? If not that would be a great feature to add.

That must be it because I am not able to scrape Bing. When scraping I get same 301 error as Bing Index Check.

Is there anything wrong with the SB free link checker? no right?

I bought a HUGE SB blast off of Fiverr. I ran the links through the checker and it didnt find one link out of 110k. I get back to the seller asking if perhaps he sent me the wrong list and I tell him why. He says that there is something "wrong lately" with the link checker and that he will rerun my links anyway as a show of good faith. I check the new list... I am half way through checking 107k and so far..nothing..not one link. Everything is either timing out or not found.

Its been a while since I played with SB as I gave up trying to find a good copy of pirated windows so this is why I am asking... did I get cheated for $5 or is there something up with SB?

This serves me right I guess.. it was a NEGATIVE blast... KARMA.

How much time are you giving it before you start checking your backlinks? I'm sure you already know that you need to give the engines time to find and then index your links. Just sayin'.

Quick feature "suggestion" if I may?
If you're running 10 instances of scrapebox on a single server, all the 10 instances say "scrapebox" in the taskbar. Can that be changed to say the name of the instance instead so that we don't have to open all of them to find one? Just a small change that will save a ton of time.

If you change the name of the folder Scrapebox is in the name in the taskbar also changes. So put each instance in a different folder or copy paste rename the .exe file itself and the name will change. Been a while for me on SB but I recall doing this.. while we are at it how much ram on a VPS does SB need? Like.. a gig?

Available:5606MB

Haha, I will. I intend on maxing it out. Right now I'm just running leisure scrapes, testing out different settings and procedures.


Quick question: In the ********/Nofollow checker, there is no way to export "Assumptions" unknown entries? I can export (wp +)********, (wp +)nofollow, and platforms unknown entries, but not wordpress - ********/nofollow.
Also, when I exported all entries as an XLS file, it only gave me 65535 rows. I'll try doing it for CSV in the next run and report back.
