Would you sell PIRATE dvds???

you should be fine. just tell people you know someone who sells them and that you'll get them for the person if they want them. just don't sell to someone who has a strict view on privacy. talk to them about how they feel about it first. Ask them if they ever download music CDs / mp3s without paying. if they do, they're an ok customer.

i definitely would not..i already had to pay $500 for infringement..i learned the first time..not to mess with copyrighted & trademarked items

Sure you can, if you didnt want to see your family for a while. Your talking big jail time.
i used to sell bootlegs @ wall mart 3/10$ i would make more then $100.00 most days ... i hope this helps!

cd's dvd's!

Create your own website (Like "CHEAPESTSDVDSIN'yourcountry'.com), host it in offshore countries (hong kong or sweden sounds good), promote it in every fucking forum you know, and start earn money
You know, it isn't simple as that, but something like this...

Thank you...i be trying to figure out just how many people understand politics when it comes to the law...and who the feds are looking for.

I wouldn't do this at all. I'm sure you can find a better source of making money. Don't risk being put in jail or break the law.

I wouldn't sell pirate DVDs. That's asking for problems. What I'd do though is sell for example a CD with a program or a movie which can be sold and you don't have to bother about copyrights. I have an eBook somewhere explaining this method and selling them to eBay, but I think it's oversaturated by now but I could be wrong.

@OP

I understand your situation but you can actually make more money online go read some threads here and you will know $50 per day aint really that hard after some work.

folks...i'll be honest with you.

there's only 1 way to sell pirated dvd's/cd's...it's risky, but i've seen it done.

A few years ago, I was invited to the local Caribbean festival to set up a booth and sell some of my stuff. a couple booths down, i saw a guy selling his pirated stuff. CD's, DVD's, you name it. He did it all day long...no cops busted in, no fbi, nobody...he made nice $$ tax free cash.

I'm not saying for you to do this....i'm not saying it's safe....

what i'm saying is that if you're gonna sell pirated stuff, MAKE SURE YOU DON'T LEAVE A PAPER TRAIL....no ebay, no craigslist, nothing online. Find small groups in your city, and see if they have got festivals, events, and $hit going on....anything that needs vendors.... I'm not talking about doing conventions or anything big like that....that's just stupid.

Like most pple said here....sellig pirated stuff is very risky. I don' t know where this guy is now....his ass could be in jail right now. But from what I saw, it was a pretty impressive operation....and the people there were just there to have fun...lots of drinking, dancing, there were hundreds of vendors there...so the guy blended in like a chameleon....smart...i only noticed it cuz i was a couple booths down....and i tend to be observant of the pple around me....and when i see a guy selling hot same day releases for 3dollars...well, you know something fishy's going on....he left with a nice wad of cash....

just becarefull....stay low...and use this post as an educational post....don't want people calling me from jail.

You've got to make up your own mind but going head to head with a big corporation by yourself is probably not a good idea

Host site in CHINA...not Hong Kong. Hong Kong has tightened up their laws around piracy and copyrighted goods!

And no I wouldn't do it...They'll have someone at the post office f'ing up your shit ones they get a nose for your $$$. Why do you think the Chinese are not doing it this way through the web??

About 2 years ago I burned a bunch of DVDs and CDs and sold them around town on the strip...I was making about $200 a day. A cop saw what I was doing he took my money. my product and then took me to jail. I got out the next day and had to pay a $300 fine

rofl....$300 fine = business expense....

I remember finding a gigantic public "flea" market in South Florida years ago. One guy there had had a stand selling pirated movies and software. The silly thing was that he was flying a pirate flag (skull and crossbones) over his booth and was dressed up like a pirate, complete with eye patch! He was escorted out by police one day, but it was a long time after he'd begun and he had supposedly done very brisk business.

My guess is if you keep it on the downlow, deal in cash and don't be very "visible", you'll lessen your chances. Usually, they go after the "big" guys to scare the rest.

Risky business. Very Risky. With the right resources and such it can be done but I personally wouldn't do it
