You expect to make millions just because the domains is old? Typically a domain itself is worth the reg fee, tops, unless there's a site behind pulling in money on regular basis. But if someone really wants the domain for whatever purposes, then there can be a different pricetag on just the domain, but not without any (personal) reason.
Ok I could debunk this but not worth the energy but will say if what you're saying was true then sites like flippa wouldn't have people paying the amounts of money they have for aged domains. And I never said I expect to make millions because a domain is aged ... there are other factors that determine worth.
In theory the amount any domain is worth is whatever a willing buyer is prepared to pay, but that is pure theory.
If the domain is "real", i.e. not "fake" and if it has PR then you can make money from it regardless of the name by selling backlinks.
The problem is determining if it is "fake" or not since that takes a lot of man hours unless you have software to test.
Your Domain has NO PR and no historical backlinks so it's probably not worth anything.
I bought another lot of aged domains today and curious to know what BHW thinks it's worth?
BlurayDiscDrive.com - 8 years old
I think you are full of BS and just trying to drum up interest in selling it.
Why is it still offered for sale on Godaddy ?
Because you hope some one here will be foolish enough to buy it ?
If you ever get to gather enough energy, then please do prove me wrong. If you just have plain domain - no matter how old - without any backlinks nor content, it's not worth any more than anyone is willing to pay for it, since it doesn't add any benefit (apart from the wanted name) for the buyer.
I don't know much about Flippa, but my impression is that mostly people sell established websites that generate income, or at least highly ranked domains.

Very quick to pass judgement. Maybe he is selling through GoDaddy?
Actually, you should do the research on what backlinks the domain had before you got it or see if it was penalized. It's worth more than $10 though. An 8 year old domain has possibilities, meaning you can blast it and it won't be penalized(don't slam me for this, i've tested it already) and possibilities means $$$.
I would say go ahead and start sending links to it. Maybe have an SEO provider give you a quote.
