i think a chatting section like the one on another blackhatforum got would be great. Such that members who are atleast donors or who have 200 ( or 300) posts should only be able to join would be great. It will help the members alot trust me. And I am really looking forward to see such a feature. I am sure that its just a matter of time when you will have a feature like that. so a live chat feature would be awesomethanks

It's not my suggestion,nothing but an idea-I would like to bring new rules and regulation for those who are part of our great forum.
like entire clear and current declarations for newbies or existing members to avoid scam why its a basic question for all.Thus we can take legal action against the scam-er and will be more succeed to make our Forum more Global ans acceptable.

Nice one. Simple but powerful. Instead of Data Mining. Idea Mining for ideas that are jewels in the rough or jewels like ^^^^ one.
I'd eliminate>>>those"Watch Me Make $1, $5/Day" or "I just earned $4.37" and steer them towards classic threads like Leith's Earn Money Today Tutorial/Demo and other threads like it. (there are so many Proven threads like this from so many members.) Then guys and girls can earn and have questions in those mega threads.

Putting aside major changes to BHW -which I don't think it needs- as an administrator I would play a more active role in BST. While admin's do approve services which is a great start, they often leave very neutral approval comments. Sometimes, an admin just writes "approved".

While I recognize that administrators don't want to negatively impact the sales of the service, I believe it would go a long way to improving the overall quality of services and the trust factor if admins simply stated what they actually thought of a service in a detailed review for all to see. Seeing BigBuddy give a detailed review of a service is so much more likely to make me buy than a fancy sales thread.

I leave detailed review in some services only which provided results and in some I just leave the comment as "Approved", where work was completed and its very early to post detailed review at the time of approval. At the most we can leave review stating "work completed as specified" . Thanks for your suggestion and let me try to give detailed review atleast in terms of quality.

Well detailed reviews usually go in after you see the positive results. And in most cases BigBuddy/Staff members are reviewing SEO Services which takes like 3-4 weeks, even more sometimes for the full effect to happen (Varies on the service being offered).
And I'm prety sure they get a TON of requests, and they can't buy up a domain for every service (Remember that not every service gets approved, some try, but fail), so what can be done is use the service(s) on like couple of different domains to see if the project gets completed on time, if there is a problem in communication.

We welcome members from all over the world. If English is not their native
language and they need to resort to Google Translate to get their message
across, then the least we can do is overlook their grammatical errors, spelling,
and word usage. It is not that difficult to understand them. Tolerance is the
key word here and we will not turn anyone away from BHW who sincerely
wants to participate and who conducts himself/herself in a respectable manner
and abides by the rules.

Well, I disagree. If you can't communicate using English, then sure as hell Google Translate is not going to help you get your message across. IMHO this is a major headache with this forum.

Some of the moderators needs to mellow down a bit. In my personal opinion with the powers of moderator comes great responsibility. In my little experience here at BHW, I had come across moderators who are arrogant and misuse their position as moderator.

So I would like Moderators to have a more practical, rational and objective approach towards members of this community and not threaten members with the powers they possess.

I would look at improving the search function. Often there are loads of useful threads that answer people's questions but sometimes they are difficult to find and so people don't bother and just post a new thread instead. Seeing the same posts over and over gets quite annoying for active members.

Sure, sometimes this is just laziness but often it isn't. I think Lifting the "30 seconds between searches" function or reducing it would help. I bet loads of people get bored of waiting and just post a thread which clogs the forums up with rubbish that has already been answered.

Buyers should see what exactly a service delivers instead of just relying on the someone else's word.

After a period of time these test sites may be worth something (mostly due to good ranking). Auction off the successful sites, get new sites and if money is left then use those funds to grow BHW. may be use this extra $$$ to Contests With Good Incentives etc So members interact more among themselves building a better community.

Also I would like to add to this, I have often noticed that Sellers keeps updating the thread with salesletter and positive reviews. The sellers should be allowed to change the Service in the opening post itself and not update the thread with flashy salesletters and only positive reviews as this is mostly done after someone leaves a negative feedback and the sellers then try to hide the feedback left by consumer by increasing the font size of positive reviews/using different colors for positive feedback.

This is my opinion is unethical practice and should be stopped.

Enhance user engagement with community activities. These would include contests, hackathons, gaming and projects.

Contests could be help in applicable areas. For example we could have a downloads member of the month. Or the "custom script/software of the month". Or the "bartman JV seal of approval"

Hackathons - These would make groups and individuals enhancing something. For example, taking an old script/method and bringing it back to life with a twist for fun or profit.

Gaming: Casual/multi-player games with ladder system.

Projects: Community projects - For example, community based seo testing.

+a point system a la StackOverflow for the above.

I really like this one. Leverage the huge amount of brainpower to improve old methods/ scripts/ testing. This could also be a great way to give the jv section a much needed quality boost; instead of the "invest $$$ into my project and get $$$+$"- threads we could move to a more skill based sort of jv in a natural way. The community projects and hackathons could be a great way for talented people to showcase their abbilities as well as provide a great learning opportunity for the non-IM gods on BHW.

Perhaps it could even spark some creativity that would deliver us from the "easy money from tumblr & youtube"-type threads that we have all come to know and love...
