Mediafire is DEAD!

I use Mediafire to host my files (whilst using YouTube) - they seem to have cracked down on RAR/ ZIP files that are password protected. They encrypt the files after just 10 downloads/ remove them. Is the only way out of this to pay for mediafire?

Also what are the best free alternatives? Do you think Google Drive/ DropBox will work? Just link the direct link to a RAR file?

No, I make sure the titles are file - hover over your downloads and see if it says - encrypted files??

Yes, One of my files was recently suspended, by an agency called LeakID. No, i'm not having any problems with any of my other files(all files are pass-protected. Just make a new account and Carry On.

I apologise for the "over the top" title....was just shocked when one of my accounts got suspended and the others had encrypted files.

I tried using my public folder in DropBox - the links worked perfectly, but my public folder got suspended after 1 day because of too much traffic. Haven't tried "Drive" but I assume it will be the same.

Will probably just pay or use ZippyShare.

Yeah I've already apologized for the wrong thread title (and I have requested for a moderator to change it/ remove it).

In terms of the file names...I had changed them and none were spammy keywords.
