ranking youtube videos in google serps question

I know that ranking a Youtube video in Google serps, is like ranking any other website.

My question is, does penguin really apply to Youtube? Can a Youtube video be penalized for over optimization?

I am guessing that it would be immuned to such penalties.

no it cant from my experience if you wanna rank a youtube vid dont worry about creating generic anchors. All my vids are on the first page surviving the last 3 updates.

I've been ranking my vid for the last 2 weeks but never had success yet.. can you share your backlink method.. been blasting my site with senuke.. but not ranking yet..

I've heard using senuke and that type of software doesn't work. I'm trying out blasting wiki blacklinks and social bookmarks at the moment since it seems a lot of people have reported success with those two methods (mainly social bookmarks).

I add a good title. A very long description using the keyword and the start and finish. Add at least 5 to 10 tags. Run Vagex with a run of likes as well. I have had youtube videos rank in 3 hours for non competitive keywords. I also use animoto to make lots of variations of videos for keywords and have had good success with method.
