They won't go on for weeks, its since 6pm on the 25th at GMT+10 that it has been down. That equals 31 hours at this point. You have to think it through. If there is a DDoS then Sweet can't get to the server either, which means they have to contact the data center and wait for them to fix the issue.
Also, if you try and launch scrapebox, it even comes up now and says that the servers are experiencing a DDoS attack that that they hope to have it back up soon.
Given its a weekend and its been only slightly over a full day, its not been long at all. The data center either has to take the server offline and deploy a software solution, or they have to deploy a hardware solution. (more or less). Either will take a while, a hardware solution might take them getting parts, which may not happen till a real business day their time. Im TOTALLY shooting in the dark here, because I have no eta from sweetfunny, but I have done a little research on DDoS protection/fixes in the past. Its not like flipping a switch.
I realize downtime is no fun, but really, its been 31 hours, and some people are acting like its been days or weeks already with no word from Sweetfunny. Sweetfunny posted just 1 page back in this thread that there was a DDoS and that they are working on it.
I for one would rather them put their full time into fixing it then to post updates here every hour saying, "still working on it". Thats pointless. I get it, people want to use scrapebox, but its been online for 3 years, its not like it came online last week. Its not going anywhere, we just have to be patient.
I'm Not saying this isn't inconvenient for me too, but in the grand scheme of things the servers have been down for a rather short time.
