Created and funded an advertising campaign. Waiting on approval. Lets see how this does.

I'm going to be launching a new service soon and this would incorporate perfectly. When you have some time, hit me up on skype - botwiz

Nice work on putting this together.

hey Botwiz, you are already in my skype list (hit me up tomorrow) metafever

How long before you have youtube working on socibuzz

Youtube referals tracking is working, but even after repeated API request we have yet to hear back from Big G.

hey, i still have an issue with my campaigns. can you fix them for me please

Hum, can you send me a PM with your user name / email so I can have my admins take a look at this?

Any suggestions?

N/M. I changed the ad and re-saved it and now it shows as "Pending Approval". Lotsa little glitches still in the system.

There are a few minor bugs, keep us posted so we can continue to address them.

Do you offer both text and banner for publishers?

SociBuzz is a social advertising platform, so all advertisements are called "buzzads" which are 140 characters (same as 'tweets') these "buzzads" are then syndicated to social media platform to engage the users into a conversation.

Awesome idea. Only clicks generated from the actual source you're promoting on (Facebook, for example) are registered. If you try to direct link, or have users click on the link from a source other than the source selected, the clicks won't registered.

But I do have some questions for the OP:

1. I noticed that when I try to post the generated link on one of my fanpages, it won't let me. FB gives me an error saying that the link has been flagged for spam. I'm sure all of us would like a response on this issue.

2. For FB, What's to stop a publisher simply iframing the link on an app? What's to stop the publisher from clickjacking the links?

3. Are links even clickable from FB apps? Since all apps on FB aren't actually hosted ON FB's URL... They're hosted on an individual's server, which is iframed on FB.

3.5 If we are able to use apps on FB to promote the links, are we allowed to make our own banners or image creatives for each link, and use the generated link as the URL that's clicked when a user clicks on the banner?

1) Is this an issue with the desination URL perhaps? I know that bit.ly is not linked to spam - I would need to see the URL before making a call.

2) Referrals are impossible to fake - this is primarily due to enhanced browser security. **for the record, I have a long history of click jacking** I have been doing this for 10+ years now, so I didn't fall of the boat yesterday and decide to build an ad network. With that said, we have most standard prevention methods in place and even some more advanced features.

3) The 2 largest networks (Twitter / Facebook) do not allow iframe. You can take my user name (twitter.com/metafever) or (facebook.com/metafever) and try to iframe the users profile and it won't work.

this is using the
Code:
 <IFRAME SRC="https://www.twitter.com/metafever" WIDTH=850 HEIGHT=700></IFRAME>
method.

So to be honest, I am not sure if this would work on facebook apps (if it does, we can probably segment those as a specific referal so that advertisers could bid accordingly).

Just set up a campaign...let's see how powerful this is :)

Yeah after thinking about this more, anyone can post the links anywhere. We can not afford to lose our domains to a block. Anyway of cashing the money out? or is it stuck?

Money is not stuck, but before we cash you out - read the above. Our system rejects all traffic that doesn't meet the specific campaign criteria. Publishers can NOT post links anywhere.

To prove this - go to my facebook page (facebook.com/metafever) from there, I posted a ad in my timeline to promote SociBuzz.com.

Now let me copy the same ad here on BHW (feel free to click the link):

"Want to make up to $1,000 / month? Promote offers on SociBuzz, learn more here: "

Where does it take you?

That is because BHW doesn't carry the specifics of the campaign (which is to only accept traffic from facebook using the above encoded link.

I'm going to give it a go..

Sounds good - let me know if I can help!

Glad to have you aboard!

I really hope this works out. This looks very promising. I've got some stuff in the pipeline that I want to test this out on.

This is what I'm most concerned about too. Thanks for the response on this:

Just signed up and made a default $.08 campaign and added $25......I like the MyLikes $.03 default better, but we'll see how this goes

Just signed up as advertiser. Let's see how the conversion goes :) Unable to delete a duplicate campaign. Sending you details via PM. Please check and let me know.

If the campaign is pending to be approved then you can not cancel. But if you want to cancel a campaign that has not yet been approved send us a quick email.
Regardless I got the PM and this is taken care of.

What's the average approval time? I submitted 9 hours ago, looking forward to it :)

Hey man, the idea looks good and its something i had in mind for very long time. Only thing i was worried is that it wouldnt be allowed from facebook since they are so strict about advertising. So, the question i have is, how did you manage to bypass this? or you think you can have problems with facebook?

They use bit.ly urls, which facebook won't block.

Sign up today, I hope I can make money with my 1.8k fan page.

I am sure you can - give it a whirl, you should do just fine!

Are publisher stats in real time?

They are indeed . . . on the home page there is nothing fudged about the numbers (those are the real numbers of SociBuzz.com)

Reach = total connections from the combined social networks

They use bit.ly urls, which facebook won't block.

So everyone knows - c0rrup has helped us beta test this almost from the start.

He is not being paid to help us either, hes just a good dude.

Even with that said, I am still much better looking!
