Pinterest is already using their own URL shortener.

We had to take Pinterest out prior to launching in Beta. Basically what they are doing is crushing any hopes of affiliate marketing through their site.

If you enter in a bit.ly URL (they visit the source URL) then encode the source into their own URL shortener.

Trust me - I am just as sad as you are!

Publishers With Multiple Accounts Are Welcome

We got a PM asking if users with multiple twitter accounts / facebook accounts are able to use SociBuzz.com.

So before this gets out of hand - let's clarify our exact position on this matter.

#1 - Users with multiple accounts on Twitter / Facebook are welcome on SociBuzz.com

#2 - Only 1 social media account can be linked to 1 socibuzz.com account (this means if you have 2,000 twitter accounts, you will also need 2,000 socibuzz accounts).

#3 - We have built an API with those publishers in mind, please reach out to us and we can work with you directly on how best to manage this.

#4 - CLICK FRAUD IS NOT ALLOWED - our publishers are paying for real traffic, so while we allow multiple social media accounts it does NOT mean that we allow click fraud. We are assuming that since you are managing multiple social media accounts then you can also produce REAL TRAFFIC.

SociBuzz.com is built to be fair to both publishers and advertisers.

Our advertisers are paying for quality traffic, so let's help keep SociBuzz.com clean!

Publishers earn additional % from completing a series of simple actions. These actions include:

liking us on facebook
following us on twitter
etc.

We start every publisher off at 50% of rev. share, and once the above action items have been achieved publishers can earn up to 70%.

What has amazed me so far is that publishers either don't have facebook (they might only have twitter) or they simply don't complete all the task.

This is only during beta.

And so everyone knows what we mean by "beta" this is the time in which we are setting specific milestones for development.

So during beta Paypal.com will be the only option. Once beta is over you will see other innovations such as:

An affiliate program
More networks to promote on
Additional payment methods
etc.

We make no claims that we have arrived yet, but even with that said - SociBuzz is pretty darn cool as it stands!
