i believe there is a black hat tools section csguy
it's actually a good thing that there is so much discussion in this thread, and the vendor should appreciate it, not only does it give a new potential customer a good idea of the program's capabilities and how people are benefiting from it, it also shows the new customer how dedicated the support team is, and keeps the thread bumped so it is easier to find
these benefits would be lessened if there was a forum that was seperate or a category specific to captcha sniper was created

Well, the forum ideea has been discussed and we will set it up, only thing which is holding us back is time. It is badly needed since we are answering same questions, over and over again, but we don't mind. This is something that we are required to do
But if any of you guys want to start a forum dedicated to CS, it would be best to consult with Mike first, if he gives the ok for it, i have nothing against it

In some cases both these services can cause the issue mentioned here.
In order to disable them, please follow the steps below:
- Click Start then Run, type services.msc and hit OK..
- Scroll down and look if these services are active!
- In case they are, double-click on them, on startup type click disabled and on service status click STOPPED.
WOuld be nice to get scuttle and phpdug.

Hey ... just got the program to work.. and I doing some testing with the latest version.
I am testing with ultimate demon.. and images are being solved in CS.. but the solved counter does not go up.. and the bottom of the program is red. Can anyone shed any light?
Also in Ultimate demon is says that images are being sent to CS and they are also being sent to Death BY Captcha as well. Maybe its not set up correctly. I am not sure.
Also.. under the settings tab.. should I have use hosts file redirect and use clean image algorithms checked?

To install the new version:
1. Uninstall Captcha Sniper using the uninstaller in the Captcha Sniper folder. This will leave the Captcha Sniper directory intact along with your license file and database.
2. If CaptchaSniper.exe still exists, delete it before proceeding.
3. Download the new version here http://www.captchasniper.com/captchasniper1.zip
4. Run the setup.exe and install in the same directory where you previously installed Captcha Sniper.
5. If you are prompted about mswinsck.ocx, go ahead and KEEP your existing file.

As far as I know Scuttle uses recaptcha, the ones which don't use recaptcha have no captcha's on it. At least the ones i found. For phpdug, i came across a few sites which used captcha types which can be solved via The Captcha Destruction Kit in Captcha Sniper which means they are using simple algo's and most likely you can add them yourself
Firstly, you should make sure you ticked the needed captcha types on the left panel. That should change the color on your status bar. If you already did that and nothing heppened, then please send me your skype id via PM as this is the first time I am seeing this issue and would like to go through it with you to see what was causing it.
As for the settings tab, mainly go with the host file redirect.

Here is the one I'm trying to crack via the Destruction Kit - http://www.eapnetwork.ca/pages/submissions/ It shows up a lot on GSA and also some on SENukeX. The captcha is so simple but I couldn't do it.
I watched your vid but I couldn't get a high success rate (highest I got was 40% then I just gave up and did other things).

Yes, this would be expression engine captcha, which is included in CS (type 52 -52% success rate). This one is a bit more complex captcha type, and required Mike to set a different algo for it.I got your PM but I'm too shy to talk on Skype.

Hi,
I brought CS a few days ago having spent a lot on paid captcha services and here is where I am so far:
Purchased, licensed and installed - all went fine.
Hooked it up to ultimate demon and left it running. UD works with a lot of sites that use re-captcha so I knew its use would probably only detect about 30% of all my work. I checked back after a while and it said it had solved 52 captchas. I looked at the last 3 on the screen and they were all wrong. I sat and watched and one after another, the ones that were detected were virtually all coming up incorrectly yet being counted up as solved. it seemed to me something must have been wrong with the setup.
I lsent support an email and was impressed with how quick Mike came back to me and offered to speak on Skype. I explained why i thought it was not working correctly and emailed some screen shots showing first hand the failures and within a few minutes started getting the feeling Mike did not like the fact I dared to suggest is wasn't working too great. In no time at all I was being told "you just don't get it do you" and "are you for real" etc etc. He finished by saying he was wasting his time and too busy and cancelled the call. I have to say, I have never in my life been spoken to like that (as a customer who has just paid him 2 days ago $100).
While I was on the Skype call, I showed Mike what it was getting wrong first hand and was just told "well use the kit to teach it or make adjustments". Thats fine and I am happy to do that but when i asked him how I get the failed captchas (given you can only see the last 3 it did), he told me to go search Google for them. The point being, other than the current 3 on the screen, you have no record or way to see which ones have been guessed wrong and need more work. Given he knew I had brought it a few days ago and from what i have seen, the documentation is poor to say the least, i have to say I wish I had never brought it, I am guessing Paypal is not a payment option when you buy becuase I would easily by now have got my money back.
As i tried to explain to Mike, it seems to me like something is not right somewhere. I have now got it showing nearly 350 solved captchas and based on sitting watching, I would be surprised if more than 10 of those 350 that were recognised were actually correct. As you can see in the attached, even the simple numbers that have a 100% detection rate claimed are all wrong. I am sure CS is potentially a good product and if I could get it to solve 50% of the captchas it recognises I would be happy.
After my call with Mike a few days ago, it came as little surprise that i then saw he had been banned from here for abusing people who like me, had done no more than question something to do with CS. As the attitude from Mike has been seems to be "Your wasting my time, you work it out for yourself", i thought I would ask on here if anyone has any suggestions before I bin it and write it off as $100 wasted and proof not to deal with people who don't have a proper support service (i.e they don't abuse their customers for just asking a question).
I can see that people have definitions on here and some people seem to be helpful if sharing bits so if anyone has any advice, suggestions or definitions that may improve my total failure with CS to date, it would be much appreciated (I am using ultimate demon and GSA)
