So I have created a new arcade website and I have been trying to hit the keyword "ww2 games". Over the past week I have been monitoring how its been doing in serps and it changes so much daily! One day it will be top of page 2, the next it will be page 4, and today it varied from 2-3. Why is it going up and down so much? I would think it would go up in a steady climb but it jumps up then back down and back up etc.

haha thanks :P does it die down once the website has matured a bit?

No, you have to keep buillding your links, it will stop at some better position as dancing gets over, in few days..

OP which services did you use for your new site? Any one you would suggest for a new site?

Some time it happens like this. You should maintain you update activity so that you site and keywords do not miss out as the google changes.

New sites always tend to rank high on google especially for the first 2 weeks. Then it'll dance a little bit and settle down. From what I see in your post, It seems like google is thinking your site has much valuable content to visitors/your on-site SEO is as good as it should be. I'd say post more unique content and get some backlinks from niche related websites to gain ranking on front page.
