I have never side stepped a thing. Keep taking shots bro .. youre about to ruin it for all captcha sniper users out there.
Why do you keep asking the same thing? Ive answered it time and time again. Again, PLEASE READ THE THREAD.
The question I keep asking is a very simple one. I even put it in bold and underline to make it clear, lets try adding italics this time round.
WHEN WILL THE UPDATE BE AVAILABLE?
THE FIX HAS HAS BEEN identified and applied less than a week ago.
Thats excellent news, so when will the update be available? Just a case of compiling and uploading, should take about 20-30 minutes tops.
Not everyone has this issue, it is ... despite what you think, ISOLATED.
Your correct, not everyone has this issue however the majority of your customer base does.
What about the saving options bug? Is that isolated? No it's not.
Let me break it down for you so you understand, this means that it doesnt happen on every system. In fact nobody on our team can reproduce it
Well given the software clearly undergoes rigorous testing i'm not surprised no one picked it up. Your team also missed the fact that options dont save and tick boxes dont work, I think I understand perfectly.
which is why i asked for user assistance less than a week ago. Again, if you will read the thread you will see what transpired.
People have been complaining about this issue since at least Feb, are you now admitting that when you said you were working to fix it you lied? You only actually started to pull your finger out less than a week ago??
As soon as I have it ready, youll be he first to know! Do you think Im intentionally delaying it?
I think your in over your head and have lied.
Also, you get full credit for delaying the release even further with me having to debate this with you.
I will publically hold my hands up and admit that it is entirely my fault that Captcha Sniper constantly crashes and will continue to crash in the foreseeable future.
why is not enought for me to say im busting my ass of 24/7 to get the fuckin thing out. it IS fixed and will be released. get you friggin panties out of a wad bro. Ill say it ONE MORE TIME ... if I havew the ability to RELEASE IT THIS SECOND I WOULD! THAT ALL U NEED TO F-ING UNDERSTAND. I don care WTF u THINK I SHOULD BE DOING or WHAT U THINK IS POSSIBLE IN MY REALM, BECAUSE U FUCKING DONT, SO SHUT THE FUCK UP, youre only making things worse.
Ok lets be real for a second here. Your entire customer base has had to put up with your fundamentally flawed piece of software for months on end. I'm going to take the saving options thing as a non isolated example, that issue alone is causing your customer signficant headache and has done on a daily basis for a long time now. As a programmer I know that would take less than half an hour to fix. When you say your busting your ass 24/7 I find it very hard to believe, if you were busting your ass 24/7 we would at least have an update that allows us to save options.
In fact that measely 30 minutes of work would actually provide a work around for all the other bugs your currently experiencing. At least we could use a script to automatically restart the software every hour. Its not ideal but it would work for now.
Here are a list of reasons it is not enough to just say 'im busting my ass off 24/7'-
1. I and your customers run businesses, not hobbys.
2. We expect what we paid for, to function properly.
3. Your lack of updates cost your customers (you know the ones that put money in your bank account) a lot of time and money
4. You saying the issue is fixed, doesnt fix the issue.
5. One of the bugs renders your software completely useless
6. You have already had a few months to fix these issues
7. Your general lack of customer service skills
8. The constant promise of updates and fixes that have never happened
9. Your competitors product doesn't crash (although it has a lower solve rate, but I dont have to spend all day looking after it so it is much better at the moment)
So Who wants to be the next to get their account banned by getting their "jollies" from acting like 5 year olds and sabotaging sales threads.
Apparently you do =D On your own sales thread! Comedy gold.
I'm still going to buy your software, but I gotta tell you this post makes me uneasy. Take this as advice or don't - it's your call: when it seems like everyone's against you, it's not the time to write a provocative post.
Should of taken his advice.
I don care WTF u THINK I SHOULD BE DOING or WHAT U THINK IS POSSIBLE IN MY REALM, BECAUSE U FUCKING DONT, SO SHUT THE FUCK UP, youre only making things worse.
Yeah I can see how I am making things worse. Seems like you are on a verge of a breakdown.
Bro u have no idea of the level of disrespect and abuse in our niche. Ask any other developer/publisher in our niche.
Airing frsutrations over problems with a product in public is neither abuse or disrespect. Please see your last post for the definition of abuse and disrespect, Yet another /selftroll ^^
To be honest i'm shocked and appauled with how you have dealt with this. It is absolutely disgusting. We are your customers raising genuine concerns and your solution to that is beyond belief.
Seeing as your incapable of handling criticism and working out what steps need to be taken to resolve issues, let me give you a step by step plan-
1) Apologise for your last post, leave your pride at the door.
2) Tell us WHEN the update will be ready and exactly which fixes that will include, given you have already fixed the issue that should be this week
3) If for any reason its going to be longer than that, push out an update so the options get saved in the mean time. This will demonstrate your commitment to resolving customer issues, solve a lot of frustrations and partially redeem yourself for your prevous post.
4) Don't side step questions, the only repeated question is when will the update be ready. PUT A REAL DATE ON IT!! Saying soon/shortly isn't good enough (see 9 reasons above)
5) Don't threaten/abuse your customers publically or privately
If you do those 5 things you have a good shot at getting things back on the right track.
If you take all of this personally and go on the attack again, say good bye to your business. Not many businesses survive very long when they publically abuse customers for problems of their own creation. Especailly when competing products are cheaper, dont crash or abuse their customer base for raising valid concerns.
