$22 on my first week on Adsense

Just thought I'd share this. I launched a new blog (with mostly pictures) a week ago and saw my first Adsense earnings from it.
And guess what? It only cost me $8.

Here is what i did:
1. I bought a .com domain name for $3 a couple of months ago during a promotion.
2. I installed a wordpress blog on the free cloud hosting of Hostzilla. They seem to filter out a few dozens of countries, but if you get through you wont regret it. I hosted another site there (i only place ads from a few local companies i have contracts with on it), and it 2 months it was only down for around 4 hours. Its also really fast. The only downside to this is the 100MB diskspace limit, but this has a few workarounds, like hosting your files elsewhere.
3. I ordered this gig on fiverr http://fiverr.com/freelancer89/give-you-20-yahoo-answers-with-a-minimum-of-10-best-answers-with-a-link-to-your-website-website. After a bit of sugarcoating (i used his service before) he proposed to give me the extra for free as well as tweeting my blog to 4k of real users.
4. I did some promotion on my own, via a few forums like gamingforce and debatechampion.

I only have 19 subscribers so far but i think thats a pretty good start for my very first Adsense project

Wow dude, I wish I had those kind of earnings when I first started adsense (although I was like 12 or something haha), it took me awhile to figure out a nice adsense method. Hope you can keep it up, you could be making a lot shortly!

They ban you straight away, this happend to me this morning. Still need to figger out for what I got banned as they don't give a reason for it. And after a bit of reading I discovered it's quite hard to recover your account.

So be aware!

Once your traffic is abnormally high... adsense will strike back at you...

Though CTR varies according to the niche, template, content, ad color and positioning, normally, CTR should be just around 20% or even lower.

I know... there are a lot of would be reactions here that's why I said that you have to be careful...

The best way to earn google is to make authority sites. Sites that is capable to be syndicated by other sites because of the quality of your content.

If your site is inappropriate for Adsense, you will get a warning (well I did anyway!) , as for click fraud...

If you haven't done anything wrong, you'll be grand.

Nice work on the site, your off to a great start! Now Imagine, get that 22$, buy 3 more domains, 3 more fiverr gigs, and replicate what you just did. Do that a few more times, diversify, and you'll be on to a winner!
