Not sure how it could be isolated either, there's several people posting here with the same issue. I'm running it with Ultimate Demon and it's the latest version of both. On a Windows 2008 server. I'm getting a Windows 7 based server shortly, maybe it will run better on that. I'll update this thread when I try it.

I can confirm that it is completely not working when this happens because UD does not detect Captcha Sniper, and it will detect CS when it is working.

Sorry, but this isn't an isolated bug. Go to the GSA SER thread within this sub forum, as nearly everyone there using CS with GSA SER has the same issue.

its very much an isolated bug and only happens in certain environments. i read the gsa thread all the time and you will also find people who post that they have no problems. also as im sure youre aware its normally the users with it happening who post ... but anyway this all besides the point ...

the good news is that a helpful user has stepped forward and after troubleshooting remotely with them all day long it looks like we have a fix We are still letting it get hammered by gsa so well know in short order

Anyone who can reliably and consistently get this to happen, please skype me - imbotz. This has been such an isolated bug that we still are not able to reproduce it in a dev/testing enviroenment.

* select all the platforms that GSA supports and check the appropriate box in CS 7.77
* wait 10 mins
* problem reproduced

I think the reason is that users are selecting captcha types that have the same size and after a while, CS just says "Eff this, I can't figure out whether to use this one or this one or maybe this one so eff all of this! I'm just going to sit here and not do anything! Hell, if you keep trying to force me to solve these cpatcha types that have same image size, I might as well crash to pi$$ you off!"

What I don't understand is why not give the users a popup box telling us "Wait! You have selected Captcha Type A which conflicts with Captcha Type B! Please select only one of these types." There are 91 total captcha types in CS. 67 of them are unique (meaning 67 have different image sizes).

I wanted to drop in and leave a quick review:

CS works great! I have never had it crash, and I run in 24/7 with UD.

It works great on those sites without recaptcha.

Although, If I run CS without CSSE it seems to work just fine. Sometimes It still freezes 1-2 times a day but when i was running with CSSE it was happening 6-7 times a day. For those that use GSA, Try running it without CSSE. I was able to bump GSA up to 300 threads and CS can work with it pretty easily.

Normally for CSSE you would also need .net framework 4. Please check if you have it installed. I never had this with CSSE and this is my set-up.

Windows processes 97 (task manager)

Intel core i5 with 4gb ram

On my last machine i had core 2 duo 1.97 mhz with 2 gb ram and it also never crashed.

Only select the platforms you are going to use. In case you are going to post toall of them using a multi-poster, team up tasks by focusing on a platform at a time.

And yes, the popular bug is that it freezes after a certain amount of time where similar captcha types are coming out redundantly (or so the explanation a few posts back explains).

As Mike said earlier, the bug is fixed and he will be releasing a new version shortly

What is MK? Yes it works great with iMacros. Theres two basic requirements that you want to look for:

1. Does the tool your working with have one of the following human solving services integrated: De-captcher.com, Death By Captcha, Bypass Captcha, AntiCaptcha (antigate)
2. Are the captcha types your tool consumes supported by Captcha Sniper either with the 60 built in captchas OR the unlimited # of medium to easy captchas that can be added with Captcha Destruction Kit

No, certainly not EVERY captcha in existence. However, with the Destruction Kit feature, you are almost unlimited.
