I've just received translations for tooltips, and was about to start updating those texts. I'll look into that redirect problem, I haven't had redirect loops but I never emptied sources list. I did not had redirect issues when I was testing the latest version. Let me also reload and then I can reproduce all possible errors.

What comes to that proxycheck, I think your version is still in 'Evaluation' mode, did you added a license key to 'General settings' in the admin control panel? It does not lift the the limits before you do so.

Edit: Upon deleting sources it will indeed end up in infinite redirect loop. Fixing. According to my tests, infinite loop applies only to the sources and this is already fixed in my development version. Expect in an hour or two hotfix release.

PS. You're able to backup easily for example your current leech list via XAMP's PMA package, just select NIX_PS database and use the 'Export' option. If you have already done so, just re-import your backup and you're set.

What are your other settings? Did you use protocol auto-detect and what are the other 'checkbox' options that you ticked? All these will also effects to checking speed. You may also try setting async. timeout to 250ms to see are there difference.

I mean the more you have options enabled, such as SSL/SMTP checks, the longer one checking thread will stay alive and therefore the check will of course last longer.

Hm, had to find some sources to add lol.

I'm having an error when trying to check proxies. FExec is not found.
The file is however on the correct spot, with the correct permissions (755), and the FExec ping commando also works. Any ideas?

Copy FExec to the same directory (same dir. where async.php is) where the other files are. If that does not help, I'll do hotfix update. What comes to sources, I will include feature 'Import the default' sources from my server as soon as I manage. I've leech lists for about 150-200k unique proxies.

I suggest to use this version of FEexec: http://myproxylists.com/FExec.c

I've added the environ variable, it may not otherwise find the CLI version of PHP on Linux.

PS. I've found an error in threading engine, proxy checking speed will be restored back to normal upon next version. This applies to all versions of NPS. I will release this update as soon as I get proxy scanning features implemented, this feature is going to be lovely.

Process time : 9 min and 17 sec

I chose this time 7 sources (not verified) and it took almost 2 min to get me 465 proxies

my problem with any url proxy leecher/scraper is a simple one
these are the facts, after working in the proxy industry 8 yrs.

you can scrape 10k socks only 2/400 will work no matter how big your list.
you can scrape 100k http proxies only 3/5k will be live rendering the other
95k dead/time out/ useless . thats a fact. every time .
go ahead scrape 500k http proxies or 200k onl 3/5k will be alive.

Assuming FExec is chmod 755 and if you get that error instantly upon starting the proxy test, your setup is severely broken.

I've sent 1.2.1 version to all current testers. What is fixed and new in this version?

- Threading has been fixed: Proxy check has finished.Checked 51776 proxies. Operation completed in 0 days 00 hours 45 minutes 44 seconds (check attachment). For this check I used 100/50 threads on Linux. It should be as fast also on Windows.
- Proxy Scanner has been ported from NiX Proxy Checker PRO (a tool where NPS proxy checker is based but has a newer and more powerful checking engine)
- 'Google passed proxy' test has been fixed
- Various minor internal fixes that are more or less visible to the end user

PS. It could be there is more fixes but I boozed heavily last weekend so that's all what I remember

Good. Here's a better description for the proxy scanner feature:

It has a powerful proxy scanning mode (read built-in proxies subnet scan mode). Generate proxy lists on the fly based on your CIDR and port settings. Mixed ports or port ranges are also possible. The subnet scan mode has also a batch support which allows you to generate proxy lists from a huge list of CIDR's!

This feature is one-click feature, just paste one or multiple CIDR's at once. If you're not fully aware of this feature, remember to read the tooltip description.

The new display is so called 'debug' mode which I left on by purpose. I can make this setting configurable for the next release. I left it on in the hope to give a better picture which settings you should use. After reading your latest results, it looks like that your computer and/or connection cannot properly handle that many threads, especially when there are lot of checking threads (sub-threads) running.

It is very simple. Say you have a proxy 218.108.168.143:80. You can create CIDR this way out of the proxy: 218.108.168.0/24
When you read the proxy scanner tooltip description, you realize that subnet mask 0/24 stands for 254 IP's. The tool will tell you how many proxies approx. you're about to scan and you can decide whether or not to go for the scanning.

Good, main thing is that you test it, either on Windows or Linux and report back the results.

I would not recommend using those 'minimal' distributions or anything where reads 'live'. Just take your time and setup full Linux, Ubuntu (or whatever is your favorite Linux). Just try it out using the package versions, I lifted curl version requirement to 7.21.

All of you failed your promises and to test the software. Needless to say, this license key you got will be blacklisted upon next update. Just delete all the files you received, you're no longer authorized to have the copy.

Here's the new tester rule:

- Minimum 100 posts.
- Your membership duration in BHW should be more than 1 year
- You should have the time to start testing immediately, I don't want to hear about you having exams or other excuses
