thats something i forgot to test (the google proxy passed)
I was so focused on testing the speed on my pc that i always chose the "auto'
I haven't tested again end of last week because i need to clean my leech proxies and i have lots of them and that takes time and i honestly didn't take the time to do it

Just wait for the next update, in current version the google test is broken. You've done very good work with testing, thank your for that. I've a few other features coming as well but it took whole weekend from me to get the google passed test working reliable with all proxy types.

I've also purchased scrapebox for comparison. I'll post my google passed proxies also in the proxy section for now so SB users can test them as well.

PS. Have you had any luck with the proxy scanning feature? This feature will also have an update to speed up your scanning.

Planned to do it Monday. I watched your video and yes i now understand (was not that hard to understand :-) even for me !! ) so i will test that before testing new release

We spoke numerous times about the issues running the software. I have been to busy to really trouble shoot the issues but for some reason it was having permission issues with fexec.

This has nothing to do with the quality of Nix's software this was a personal issue with a Box I have over at OVH.

I just wanted to let you know the reason, hopefully in the future I can get everything sorted out.
 
I don't want to bash you but you said it yourself 'I have been to busy to really trouble shoot the issues'. You should not apply as a tester when you are too busy with other things and that's why you and the other listed testers are no longer in testers.

I've verified NPS on two dedicated linux servers, 32 and 64bit Debian 6.0 linuxes. The thing is, when you especially chose linux, i definitely assume you can setup a web application on linux environment. Why don't you try it with windows on your home computer?

I don't currently have time or energy setup each tester machine, im working about 8-11 hours every day with the software. I hope you understand my point of view as well.

At the moment I am working on Linux CLI version but it's not yet ready to be released.

It was faster than usual i think

I will now take a look at scanner
 
i have tested the proxy scanner and thats a really cool feature
i took a working proxy .. remove last 2 digitis and added 0/24
and i got 254 proxies i scanned them and got a few
connect(0) xxx.xxx.xx.xxx:80 OK
but when checking is done, i got 0 in working proxies in"proxy check"
 
The 'connect()' xxx OK means, that the host is up but it does not necessarily mean this proxy will appear as a working proxy. That debug information is meant to give you information what is happening background. In next version, there will be an option to enable/disable this echo.

You've probably found a range from private proxies or something like that. As proxygo said, it's all about finding the right ranges. I am sure when you try it this way, you will find proxies that barely none else has.

Just wait for the next update, it will make the proxy scanning feature to the next level. I almost cry here with all these work and features but it's worth it.

If you scan large ranges like I do, you will see a ton of 'timed out' but that's normal. Im happy to read that you already figured out on how you should start the scanning for new proxies. The upcoming update for the proxy scanner will make your life easier.

PS. This thread has over 10k views but I wonder are bots causing it? I mean if 10k views are real people, should not this topic have a lot more replies?

I will make private video for all NPS users on how to find the ranges depending the proxies you need. You can call it as a gift for testing NPS.

Speed looks normal to me. Remember that in 1.2.1 version the google passed test is severely broken, you currently barely get google passed proxies. The next update has it fixed.

==> OK gotcha .. i understand .. i thought OK meant Working proxies. Now i know :-)

I've sent 1.2.2 version to all current testers. Google passed test has been fixed and only high anonymous/anonymous proxies are to be considered as a valid SB proxies. Now also the debug mode can be disabled/enabled. I released this version early because the other features will take more time.

I don't know why but the speed is greater now .. didn't change anything to pc ..so thats good

I noted the debug mod enable or not in settings

EDIT: btw, one test didn't finish .. stay blocked on finishing latest threads ..let it like that for 15min but didn't finish.. i returned to main menu relaunched the test and it finished

Hey everyone,
I am one of the testers here.
Installed the NPS fine on Windows 7 using XAMPP. Followed all the instructions for Windows setup and everything went smooth.
Scraped proxies from non-proxy source, suggested by the OP.
Proxies 708 Total process time [d:h:m:s] 0:00:00:35

However, when I tried to check them, i got this error:

Searched for it online and all i could see is NIX's own API website having this same problem.
I tried redownloading the sourceguarding, but not helping.
 
All must redownload the package from previous location and overwrite proxy_checker.php
I packed a test version for another tester for PHP 5.2.17 and obviously forgot to fix this for 5.3 users.

mic141414: Remember to update to the latest version, you're still using 1.2.1 which don't have google passed test fixed nor debug mode setting. What comes to speed, it looks normal to me. Remember, there was an error in threading which is fixed in 1.2.1 or newer.

bit .. if you dont have the ip ranges + the correct port...
 
I think then that I packed the wrong version only for wawawiwa, so only he have to re-download. What comes to your speed, it's very decent. If you suspect your connection, here is what I suggest. Test exactly the same list with your current speed. Then reduce the threads -40%, and compare number of working proxies. If the check with a lesser threadss has significantly more working proxies, then it's your connection.

With that check, he was using a version which had google passed test badly broken. The version I sent today, has it fixed and im curious to hear about those results. Please bear also in mind that because scrapebox has anonymous test broken, all non-anonymous transparent proxies are to be considered as valid. NPS only consider truly anonymous proxies as valid SB proxies, therefore you cannot compare results between those two as it would be totally unfair.

What comes to speed, it definitely does matter. I am personally after very fast proxies, I am scanning huge ranges, it takes ages to find those proxies BUT whenever I do find, those proxies give 10Mbps+ download speed and the uptime is from several weeks to several months. So I can say that time it took to scan those proxies, was worth it.

What you are after? The numbers or quality?

Anyways, I do my best to provide as fast and as reliable tool as possible. If I would have been happy with the other tools, this thread would not exists.
