For 6th and 7th test, was you always using the 'Check all unique proxies'? Just try to check individual URL and see does it make difference.
You can abort the check simply by closing the tab that is currently showing you the progress meter. You will not lose current results. I did not experienced issues you had during my own tests.
However I'll verify it on windows because im working on a new version. Im already done with 'import sources from a file' for the proxy leecher. It has dupecheck as well. Expect a new release during this weekend.

I'll check and fix it right now. Expect later on tonight hotfix update for index.php. I will also make proxies in proxy format for this hotfix.
PS. Your ping to that japanese IP was good, so the default 'async' timeout works. What comes to tcp-z, during proxy check, you should pay attention to the 'TCP' tab and monitor half-open connections. So if you set threads to 30, ensure that you see peaks close to 30 simultaneous half-open connections per second.

I've sent fixed version. All issues mentioned before this post has been fixed. The latest 1.1.1 version support also adding a source via a text file.
The next version will have full database support for working proxies and other features. It will be available during the next week. Now I need to keep a few days break.

yeah but i am sure lots are dead ..LOTS
i used to be more in proxies (a while ago) and had sources that were harvested and got some from forums too
i will send them to you but be beware i am sure lots are dead .. thats why at the beginning of the threads i asked for removing dead sites as there is no way in hell i am gonna check 700 urls manually to see if sites are still alive

You're right, i am crazy but not crazy enough to check 700 URL's manually. I'll add this feature into my notes. I can make it verify that at least domain (DNS) has to be valid before it will get added to the leech list.
Basicly it should try attempt to leech the source upon adding it and if it does provide proxies; add it. This feature is needed, I'll fix it. Please email me this list, it is needed to verify this feature. Saves my time as well. Thanks.

Ok.. Finally after one full of checking this, I have a few words to say about this software and the OP
1) I had some trouble installing it, because of a port issue in my computer. However the OP did a complete trouble shooting over teamviewer and got the software running.
2) Just from one source it scraped 100k+ proxies in under 1 minute
3) I have used many other proxy scraper and testers before. The fastest tester I ever used was proxy switcher, and this software is at-least 3 times faster than that for the same number of threads, with the ability to increase the number of threads, the speed can be far higher.
4) The OP is open to ideas and is adding new features continuously. I am sure this software is going to be much more than a normal proxy software.

This looks nice, I'd love to try out that speed! Can you also import a proxy list from another program, and check it with yours?
Also, how many threads would I be able to run on a 16/2 line?

You can import a proxy list from another program and you will have the same copy/paste options as in other tools. I was able to run the tool at it's full potential on my 10/2 line and if you have enough memory, you should be able to run it with reasonably high threads.
Please bear in mind that NPS is at least 3 times faster than any other tool when using same amount of threads. Threading is optimized as good as it can be done for a web application. I recently run a check using 50/50 threads, and it did checked 1k proxy in one minute.
Im still working on the version that supposed to be already available but looks like I overestimated myself. As my signature image shows, I've got the product page up. I'll post there soon more screenshots.

Features sound good, importing a proxy list from another program should also prove nice, so you could use different methods to acquire a list, and check them fast with NPS
What amount of ram do you recommand per 10 threads? I have a friend on a fast connection (fiber to the home, 100/10), so that might be worth trying lol.
