That is not the point. The tool works as advertised, the amount of working proxies was in the area of 5,000. I'm just waiting for the proxy checker to be added to this great tool. Now I had to export my list and import it to NIX Proxy Checker PRO. Which is nothing at all, but still, when it gets added to NPS, I only need to click one button. How many proxy tools do you know that allow you to do this with these speeds?

I've answered. Please post all feedback/issues in this thread so everone will benefit. Im working hard with bugfixes and features and it's a less work for me when I have to reply only one time to each issue rather than talking in PM with all testers.

had problem with host and then with Xampp when i installed it
Anyway, i got it up and running this morning

I can tell it is working good AND FAST ..scrapping proxies is REALLY fast .. i really like the way it scrappes... i like speed and this one is really quick. Cannot wait to see the proxy checker as it is implemented yet IF as fast as proxy leeching (and accurate results), that would be a REALLY great software.

One thing i would like to see is : when adding urls that don't need login/pass, a way to upload a file (with XXXX proxy urls in it), because adding +100 urls manually is really not cool (unless i did not see that feature this morning)
 
also maybe a way to remove 404 sites ....lots of site die... i have a huge lists and that would be great if when a site dies (404 or dead) it could be removed from DB
 
Thank you for testing and feedback. I've sent you a PM with link to the latest 1.0.2 version. Only the ones who actually test it and post feedback receives the new test versions from now.

Are you sure that it's a good idea remove automatically 404 or dead ones? Imagine if you're experiencing temporary connection problems or your host does and then whole list is gone. How about if I add report for failed or timed out sites?

The proxy checker will be monster, im working hard on a new threading engine for PHP and current results are very promising. Stay tuned.

One more question, did you lifted the half-open connection limits with TCP-Z? I did it for my windows and currently it seem to give very decent speed even for windows.

PS.

1.0.2 version fixes the following:

- Don't show any more the results for URL's that did not returned any proxy
- Main navigation added to the header
- Optimizations for parsing the results (it should not no longer consume 100% CPU when viewing each scraping)

==> you may be right on that ... it is because like many i have huge lists of proxy sources and lots of them must be dead by now. But like you said, if connection problem ...the whole list will be dead

==> yes sure ..like that if same sites always appear, it may be time to remove them.
If there is like 10 it can be done manually ..but i have 5k proxy sources url and 200 are really dead, will be very hard (time consuming) to remove them one by one.

Maybe it is not that important..if site is dead, NPS will go to the next one ... etc
I was just thinking about how to increase time and not lose time on dead sites...

No i didn't ... because once a coder told me that windows7 had no half-open connection limits.. so i guess he was wrong ??!!

According to TCP-Z, Win 7 Enterprise has this limit set to 10. I'll have to verify this as soon as I get the new threading engine fully tested with Linux. Then I can compare elapsed time and reliability Linux vs Windows to see is this limit true or not.

Check this http://myproxylists.com/TCP-Z.png It says that tcpip.sys has been limited to 10, i patched the kernel memory to 100, and after testing threading, I had no problems to get 40 simultaneous connections without any delay.
 
yes you are right
i downloaded it and had limit at 10 in Patch .. i put 134 to try and now i have memory limit : 134

When it is added, testing will be more thorough and can be compared to zenno's inbuilt scraper.

Scrapebox's inbuilt proxy scraper does not stand anywhere near this in terms of speed.

Still testing it with the authentication required sites.
 
I'm very interested in testing this aswell, count me in when you have a spot available.

All 'translators' and 'testers' expect Frement, imserious and mic141414 has been fired from those positions. They were after something else than testing. If I would apply as a tester, I would have time to start testing right now. If I would apply as a translator, I would let the software lead developer know ETA instead of disappearing for days.

My canadian friend will do translations, I can count on him unlike to those who promised to translate but nothing happened. There's one testing position available. Please do not bother unless you're not serious tester who have time to start testing right now.

To current testers:

I've almost finished the new threading engine for proxy checker (works on Linux/Windows). Here's the raw connection speed on Linux when using 100 threads:

In one minute ~3488 proxy == 209k proxy in one hour

It is about 6 times faster than my previous engine and it requires also 6 times more upload bandwidth ;) I promised the proxy checker will be monster and you'll get one. Check below elapsed time for 100 simultaneous connections. All OK's are proxies that were willing to accept a proxy request. I start to get curious myself as well ;)

I don't know if possible or if you would consider it : We may have different txt files with sources. Will it be possible to remove duplicates when the script has finished processing the files ?

I'll also add dupecheck upon submitting sources. These features will be added after I get the new version of proxy checker implemented. I am nearly done with the new threading engine + proxy checker feature. Today I can give it a go.

You can expect during this week a new test version with proxy checker feature. Just a reminder, I did not coded this from strach, it's an improved version of my previous proxy checker.
