I bought it today v7.77 and getting the same run time 75 error, then the program closes. I have just emailed support for help.

I fixed the run time 75 error, well it was not really a fix, my host file was set at read only, so I unticked it and it loads just fine now.
If you do not know how to do this?
open notepad as administrator, use that to open
c\windows\system32\drivers\etc In the drop down box on the bottom right, set to all files, right click on the host file and go to properties, if there is a tick next to read only? untick and save.

Love the updated version, faster, smoother and more captchas!

Just wondering if the ability to have a fallback service is in the works since SEnukex will not be adding CS integration it seems. CS is now able to work with a lot of the senuke bookmarking and forum sites so I still see a great need to have CS as a first line captcha solver for senuke.

The captchas that it fails to solve and forwards to external services..does it save them somewhere?

In this case you will have to delete the license file and go through the reg process again.

1. delete the license file
2. double click captchasniper.exe and enter your plimus order number or paypal transaction id
3. copy the reg code presented at the new prompt and send it via email to Mike at license[at]captchasniper[dot]com

He will set you up with a new license and everything should be fixed

Has anyone been authorizing licenses over the last few days as I still haven't received mine and have been opening up CS a few times as I am itching to get going with 7.77

Just looked at the reciept, there are 2 numbers, an "order refference number" and an "account number" I have just tried the ref number and will see how i get on.

I have a doubt - there is currently one free transfer (reinstall allowed per month). So I installed and did not activate it, will that still be counted? I thought only activation does count. Please correct me if I am wrong

No, activation errors don't count. We allow 1 license move per month, so anything that has to do with activation errors, won't count.

World Wide Publishing Service or Web Deployment Agent Service

In some cases both these services can cause the issue mentioned here at Case 1.
In order to disable them, please follow the steps below:

1. Click Start then Run, type services.msc and hit OK..
2. Scroll down and look if these services are active!
3. In case they are, double-click on them, on startup type click disabled and on service status click STOPPED.

The fail over service isn't integrated yet, it will be added with future updates.

Who is getting this error message. Please verify that it isn't set as read only

In case it is, untick read only please.

If the host file is not set as read only, you might want to ricght click captchasniper.exe, go to the compatibility tab and check that it is set to run as admin and in win xp mode for all users!

This is a generic message when any windows ‘service' is using port 80. Its most likely IIS, but can be anything. You'll need to start task manager, the go to the services tab to find the offending service and stop it. Look for things like Web Deployment, Web Publishing, SQL Server Report Server, etc.

As to why port 80 is used .... ummmm .. lol you have to understand what CS is and does and then youll answer this question yourself

i read the guides did the elevated cmd prompt and it just finds 4 as the result and process 4. so i am unable to determine what is using port 80 on my pc. i dont understand why they cant program it to just share port 80 is my point?? i dont even have "

On windows 7 (not sure about the others), to find out what's using port 80, you can start command prompt and run : netstat -o -n -a | findstr 0.0:80

please read what i wrote above regarding task managaer. Thats the point im making is that you're NOT gonig to be able to find it in this case since process id 4 is the 'system' as in system service, which there are MANY of. This is why in this case, you need to go through and look for things in task manager

As for that link of the docs, please always use the official current ones that are distributed by us

hey,BTW Captcha destruction Kit is great.
But you have to add this feature: in the down-left corner were it is the image processing commands, we must have the possibility to remove individual filters and edit the parameters for any filter that is added in the list. In the current state, if I wrongly add a filter or a faulty parameter, I have to reset and start again from scratch.
I'm waiting for a reply!
