is there any wp plugin that auto pin images to pinterest?
You will get better results if you take the time to put care into your pins and also write something in the description box. Saying "This mud cake is to die for" will get you better results than a picture of a cake with no description or opinion included in it. Whenever you surf the internet and read something interesting, ask yourself "Do I think a woman would like this?" Also, don't be afraid to promote other people's things, sites, or blogs. It works out in your favor. If you find a do it yourself craft that you think women would like, pin it to your crafts board. The nice thing about Pinterest is that the majority of people click "follow all boards" instead of just following just one board. They just followed your income board without even knowing it. So the next time you promote your own blog or whatever way you are making money, your followers will see that picture.

I have been using pinterest for nearly a year, white hat, not black hat.

Recently i started doing what OP adviced, i was copying the popular pics which are in my blog`s category (beauty) and put them in my site, then pin them from my site to my own boards.. At first days every single pin i made was appearing in the beauty category and everybody could see them, then on the 3rd day of doing this, i noticed that no matter how many pics i pin, only one of them was appearing in the category page.. and today i posted like 20 more pics and only 1 or 2 appeared in the category page and now no matter to which category i try to pin, my pic does not appear in the category`s main page = less repins.

I made a new acc few mins ago, tried to pin a pic and boom, it appeared on category`s page instantly.

So either they have an automatic system which checks your pins and prevent you to spam the same category rapidly, or they do manual reviews and block your pins to appear on the category.

Actually i can pin and my followers can see them, but they are not going to main page of categories, in this case i really wonder what is going on.

If it is a temporary thing, then no probs, but if it is permanent then it sucks.

if someone finds an exact answer about this problem, please share! i want to know what is going on...

Yup I've noticed the same thing. There seems to be some kind of spam filter they implemented just recently (sometime Wednesday I believe). I pinned 50+ pins yesterday and didn't get a single like or repin, and this was on a brand new account. I'm pretty dissappionted in Pinterest, I've had 4,500 clicks on my affiliate links and only 1 sale.

So I "gave up" on this, and pretty much had stopped pinning stuff to focus on other things. Last pinned on the 18th, and don't know why, but yesterday the 23rd I had 123 click throughs. So those who say a pin is no longer good after a few days, had it wrong.

I even had 1 amazon purchase which netted me $5.98.

I'd call this method very hit and miss.

They did put a spam filter in. I was about to make a crapload of money on a spin I implmented on this method. Made $1k on Wednesday and they patched it completely yesterday..

Any ideas how to trick the spam filter?
Congrats on $1k! How did you monetize the traffic?

now you know me and you will still make money, once I get to my main comp I will hash out some ideas and see how it goes.

I think the way it is working is you are being throttled for your pins, so the best way to go about this is to slowly build the rep on the accounts,

1 pin per account, get your other accounts to like and repin that pic shit like that.

repinning can work as well as pinning so you need to just stick with it and see how to make it all work.

this is not a job for manual, this needs to be automated. Automation with it is fairly easy however.

Well I just saw something on Pinterest that I have not seen yet. Someone is putting three and four pictures straight down in one jpg. Her pics are bigger than everyone else's. Very interesting. It stood out and caught my eye. This has possibilities.

191 seems to be the biggest width you can go and the height seems to be just about unlimited

My account is old and slowly build followers, some of my boards have 3000 followers while main account followed by 1500 people, i wonder what they think as spam and if they permanently stop you to post on main categories or it is a temporary ban for few days?

I have hopes that it is temporary because when i was pinning 5-10 pics in a row within 1-2 mins, only the last pic i pinned was appearing in the category`s main page.. then boom. none of them started to appear :(

Just analyzed a few category pages and this is what i found out:
Out of ~500 pins on the category page there was a unique user for each, except one case. So I would guess that Pinterest has not limited our accounts, but simply changed the algorithm of what goes onto the category page - which in this case is only one pin per user (per some amount of time probably). And the case with 2 pins by the same user was that one pin was without a price and the other was with currency symbol in the description, so my guess is that you can get maximum 2 pins to the category page.
Will test some more things later.

I guess they put a time limit per person. I just pinned and it appeared on the category`s main page. Time limit seems to be 24 hours, if this is the case then it sucks :/

Ok so the adsense method worked for me. I also have tried other stuff I have had clicks but no conversions.

My problem now is my twitter account I was using to sign in with is now banned? Any way to sign in with the same profile? It won't let or I am not seeing how to.

thanks

I have been following this thread. Sound workable.

Any kind soul out there to send me the invite?? PM me. Thanks

I have a Tumblr Niche Image Blog with Adsense on it. Just reposting Images from other Users. Will join pinterest and see if I can boost some traffic that way.

Definitely join Pinterest! If you have quality content (niche related pictures), you will get some NICE traffic boost.

Hi joshweaver9,

Maybe I'm missing something but why would people go to my images on pinterest instead of going to the already popular ones I've "stolen"?
