Hi!
I have a problem with scrapebox..
I got 300 public working proxies tested,
Changed in the settings the Harvester to: 11
but still, everytime I'm trying to scrape in google, I see: "Connections: 1" and then it turns to "Connections: 0" and scrapes nothing!
in yahoo it also shows 1 connection but scrapes.
this was only with 1 keyword.
If I'm trying multiple keywords, if goes down quickly to 0 and scrapes nothing again..

Please help me...
Thanks!

use these settings u will get more public proxies working

settings > adjust max connection > proxy harvester 60
settings > adjust timeout settings > proxy harvester time out 45
settings > adjust multi thread harvester proxy re trys > 3>2
options > use new proxy harvester > check mark it.

Thanks buddy, but the problem isn't with proxy harvesting, it's with SERP harvesting...

There is a max of 1 connection per keyword. So when using only 1 keyword you can set connections to max and its only going to use 1 connection. If you use 5 keywords and you have the connections set to 100 then its only going to use 5 connections.

As for why it is not harvesting results, first check your custom googles to make sure you have it set to google.com

If it is then go to settings >> use multi threaded harvester - and uncheck this. Then harvest. There will be a status column, what errors are you getting in the status column?

Dont know if this is a bug or not, but after I upgraded scrapebox the grab comments feature will only let me extract 5000 comments before saying it has reached its limit. I rolled back to 1.15.34 and now no more limitations.

No, its not a bug, but its intended to be limited at 5000. There's a reason for that.

Thanks for the answer,
I switched to 1 thread and checked it,
some proxies get blocked in the process, but the ones that do scrape, scrape only 100 per proxy and some of them scrape only 1 url for some reason.

I see here people that scrape thousands of urls and I just can't understand how they do it...
with 70 public proxies (it was 300 in the beggining) I scraped only 700 urls with 6 keywords.
And when I checked the keywords manually, each one had over 500 each..

Hope you could help..

Thanks!

Well it goes in rotation on purpose. So it only uses 1 connection per keyword and it only uses 1 proxy per each request. That way its not hammering on the same proxy over and over again.

The reason it might only get 1 result is that it might only show 1 on that page, if its the last page for a set of results or whatever it can happen.

Also, just because when you search google it says X hundred results, doesn't mean it will show that. Like, you can search for a term and it can say 536 results. Then assuming you have it set to view 100 results per page, for simplicity, and you go to view page 6, which would be the last 36 results, it will kick you back to page 2 and only show you up to say 113 results and say the rest are supplemental. Scrapebox will not scrape supplemental results. This is Google trying to look good on the front side with the numbers it presents, but not really having meaningful results to give you.

If you want my personal opinion, ditch the public proxies all together. Go get 10 private proxies, set your connections to 2 and you can scrape all day long. Its fast because its private proxies, there is no need to monkey with testing, etc... At 2 connections out of 10 proxies they rarely get blocked. Thats only using 20% of your proxies at once. Using this method I have used 38 proxies to scrape for 10 days solid straight, netting over 180 million results. I have done this time and time again.

The point here is private proxies would save you the headache of dealing with public proxies and you would know that your not seeing IP banned or forbidden because the proxy is dead or any number of other issues.

Just my 2 cents.

Also make sure you take into account my video I listed a couple of posts up. If you are using advanced operators in search then thats a completely different ball game.

Thanks Matt!

I got another question,
do you know if there is an option to minimize SB to tray?
or will the option be added in the next updates or it isn't possible?

Thanks!

I spun a comment very well & used the "Test Comment" feature & everything looked great. I ran the Scrapebox on 490 blogs and came back with a posting success rate of 260 blogs. I used the link checker and found 0 of my links. How could this be ?

Also is their a strategy to finding auto-approve blogs using scrapebox or another methods?

Also if i place my email in my comment will this auto-spam ?

I'm trying to figure out how to get this scrapebox to actually work for me. I followed the YouTube videos and believe i am doing just about everything right but no success. ; /

What i have to do if i want to change the licencise of SB to the IP of my new server ?

Just bought ScrapeBox. I didnt even downloaded on my machine, but directly to VPS and it didnt ask me to give any licenses - it works in someone elses names. Is that a problem and how to fix it? Please PM me.

Probably someone else had activated his own license on the same VPS and didn't transfer it there after, hence its not asking for your license information. You've nothing to do in this case. Just keep using it as it is, and when you see its asking for your license information(means when the guy transfers his license to somewhere else), just use your own license. Similar shit happened to me as well. Not a problem.

Successful posting is often confused with link stick rate. When a comment is submitted to a blog, it just means it was successfully submitted. Most of the time it will then go to a moderator and must be approved before it goes live. Link stick is when the link is live. If you post and then check links, the only ones that are going to immediately show up is auto approve links. Here is one of my videos on it:

As for finding auto approve blogs, I have a video on that too:

What do you mean "If I place my email in the comment with this auto spam?"

If you put your real email address in the actual comment it will be scraped by a billion spammers and you will have your email box full of spam in short order.

Can you explain what you meant by that last one?

Email support, they have a program you can run that will reset your license data and get you up and running in your name.

Yeah,

Settings >> hide task bar icon when minimized.

That will put it in the system tray when you minimize it.

Just bought Scrapebox, got my activation within an hour, and getting my feet wet right now. Man this is a powerful tool, can't understand why I didn't bought it earlier.

Has anyone found that SB is scraping exactly 100 results from Google no matter what your settings are lately? I've only noticed this as of today.

No, its scraping the full 1000 for me. What are you results set to? Make sure they are set to 1000 and not 100.

If so try going to settings >> use multi threaded harvester - and uncheck this. Then harvest and look at the status column. Are their failed requests? If so what errors do they have.
