Nope you can't use it on BHSVPS. I've asked several times. I've even asked if I can change the hosts files to have it run with a diff computer. I got No's to both questions and Only reason why is that it would affect other users on that VPS.

Yes, that is correct. If they won't allow to change the host file then it won't work. Captcha Sniper ads entries to the host file once it starts and reverts it back when you exit.

I was not aware that BHSVPS doesn't allow these changes to take place.

Yeah I got an error on my VPS.

But I was able to Install and Open it in my WMWare Player Windows 7 but haven't tested it yet - do you know if it works on there?

Regards to senuke, Is there anyway this software will work when the forum profiles are being created and once they've been done it will go back to my deathbycaptcha's? If you get what i mean sorry.

It has to be integrated into SEnuke so that when CS fails it falls back to a secondary service.

It advertises that it works with senuke but no one seems to have figured out how to fully integrate it LOL

And that is done how?? From what I'm being told it only works when you do each submission separately - won't work with Wizards.

In order for it to work this way, we need to be directly integrated with senuke, so in case CS won't solve a captcha, it will then be passed on to a service.

It will not be fully compatible because most of the sites in senuke are using recaptcha. The forum part doesn't, so that is why at this point it is compatible with that part only.

Hi mikey, can i inquire about the mutex command line parameter? If I am not mistaken it is the silent mode implementation 1.4? Couldn't find details in the documentation.

So far i've been using this command line arguments
[captcha path, captcha type] and it is working great in mozilla's imacros.
What should i add in to be in silent mode?

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program, but still the same. What should i do?
I tried to downgrade to 1.2 and it starts in that version.

Will a complete uninstall be advisable(delete the cs folder)? Btw I have here the needed transaction id if needed.

First, make sure Captcha Sniper launched without any warnings.

Next, you can use the file captchasnipertest.html that was included with your download to test and make sure Captcha Sniper is running correctly. This will test to make sure that Captcha Sniper is listening on port 80 and that the hosts file edit that performs the redirect is functioning properly. The documentation has extensive information on troubleshooting port 80 as well as hosts file.

Hi Jake, not sure what you mean about silent mode. You'll most likely need a programming language beyond imacros to access the mutex. The mutex is just so that tool developers can query to see if Captcha Sniper is running or not.

No need for a complete reinstall at all. Are you running a non-english version of Windows? This is typically when we see this problem. I dont have it right in front of me, but if you will scroll up a bit, another user has posted a solution. I also have a work around for this if the above doesnt help.

I was wondering since im using an english version of windows from the start. I searched the thread and I think you were referring to the one that says reinstall directX. If there is a work around please post. Thanks mikey. More power to CS.

The solution should be the one below:

In case you need the language for some other non unicode programs, you can start Captcha Sniper by using SBApplocale. Simply download the command line from the link below:

http://www.steelbytes.com/?mid=45

Then you can run it via command prompt like the example shown below:

SBAppLocale.exe 1033 "C:\Program Files\CaptchaSniper\CaptchaSniper.exe"
