Internet.bs warning

Surely they wouldn't win though, I mean, courts are bound to interpret the laws as they are, not how they wish them to be. I'm no expert on CAN-SPAM or american law, but if the law only covers bulk email spam, anyone who is tried for anything else should get off, and if not, then the appeal court should definitely rectify it.

That's exactly what the defendant in one of these FB spam lawsuits tried to argue, and their motion was denied. It wasn't the first time the court allowed for a broader definition of the CAN-SPAM Act, one that would include non-email related communications, and it won't be the last.. The defendant and FB ended up agreeing to a settlement.

That's completely true... thing is Facebook is rich enough to have the law interpenetrated as "email submits" being a violation of CAN-SPAM. I don't see Xrumer of SB falling under the same ultra broad interpretation though.

Thats the problem with our court systems in the west, the money talks and the ones with the deepest pockets win, and you have to be rich to have access to justice even if you are in the right..

But back on topic, from what I can gather there was never even a whiff of a court order in the internet.BullShit case...they just suspend the domains at the behest of SpamHaus, which is just plain wrong.

Does that mean I can just set up a company called SpammerMansion, fire off spam reports of my competitors to their registrars and ISPs and have all their accounts suspended? It would certainly make my business much more lucrative after I'd done it. The only people they should be listening to are local courts, and only after the due process with an injunction.

And you think money doesn't talk even better in countries where you can buy fakes at shopping malls? :)

You have to see the bigger picture here. Which is many ISPs are blocking emails from all domains hosted with spam listed companies. For example mine does it. It's just easier for them and subscribers don't really complain.

On the other hand if I can't send legit emails because my registrar is on a spam list I am switching registrars. So it's a numbers game as almost anything else in IM. Is it more profitable for internet.bs to get out of some spam list by blocking domains or to not give a fvck about that list. They are certainly trying to find the answer.

As to the 'I can do it to my competitor' specualtions, sure you can try. Just as Sony can try to write bad reviews about Panasonic on Amazon.

Oh no, I fully understand that money talks even more and holds a much greater weight. The system here is so corrupt that you can't do ANYTHING without having to bribe an official, be it filing a police report or paying your taxes or any kind of lobbying.

Well, that may be true, but there are (purportedly) bulletproof hosts and registrars out there, couldn't internet.bs buy their domains wholesale from one of these? I admit I don't know that much about the mechanics of it, and how to get the services unblocked once you have been blacklisted, but I'm sure it wouldn't be impossible.

Ecatel, for example, a shady hosting company, had its lines severed which crippled all their hosting for about a week, but they found a new company to provide their connectivity and bounced back as strong as ever, with their zeus command centres and all their email spam. They don't ban people for even the most illegal of activies, and SpamHaus named them "The Most Notorious Spammers", surely that is some kind of achievement :D

I will certainly be watching this space closely to see what happens in this saga before I decide to buy any domains from them.

Lol, yeah your right...but what ever happened to the principals of "fairness" and "justice", or am I just living in a fantasy hoping that these exist at least somewhere in the world.

Evidently, since he couldn't even beat a practically unknown upstart half his age in a poll :D I think I'll find a different source for my inspirational advice than Senator McCain tyvm ;) hehe

But anyways, I should probably give the thread back to the OP instead of hijacking it hehe

I agree with most on here ? this really is a load of .bs! The fact of the matter is that it's not internet.bs' place to suspend your sites on a report from some private company. This whole process is so open to abuse it's a joke. All it takes is some malicious reporting from someone with the time and inclination to put work into taking down their competitors; we all know that there are people around who'd be more than willing to do that just for the boost it'd give them.

That said, thanks for the heads up although I am sorry that this has happened to you. I'm going to make absolutely sure I shift any domains I have on internet.bs just in case someone tries this stunt on me.

Sorry for bringing this thread back from the grave but I think people need to know that internetbs is still up to this bull shit. Got one of my domains suspended today, I have never send any email, just lots of SB. They are saying they will reactivate if I get the site off the blacklists.

..and what was that site about? Or why is it BListed?

My friend had a domain suspended with them 2 weeks ago as well. So they're no good!

Waking up old thread!
So I had most earning PPD niches domain over at internet.bullshit, and it was just put on hold. Almost 24 hours have passed sicne I wrote 2 emails and contacted live support twice, still nothing

Sounds really bad. So what was the reason? Were you spamming with GSA or something else? I also have around 2 domains with them/ I will consider moving them asap.

Nah the reason was that my site was fake PPD niche that probably got some visitor or competitor pissed, so they reported it.
Domain was put on hold and redirected to domain parking, then finally abuse department contacted me and they allowed me to transfer the domain elsewhere, so that's what I did.

I'm bumping this thread after googling about spamhaus and internet.bullshit , ive been a customer for years and registered over a thousand of domain with them , and recently i got one on hold costing me my reputation and probably thousands of $ on a new launch im having , they really are the worst registrar EVER (yeah even worst than GD , at least with GD i usually receive an email allowing me to transfer the domain before suspension) while this internet.bs just put it on hold and worst they are not even responding to my emails , contacted them like 5 times and i got a reply that my domain is blacklisted on spamhaus and i need to get it delisted , ive done that and its delisted since like 5-6 days , contacted them again and the same shit NO REPLY . I mean why they even care about spamhaus!!!

A peace of advice : Avoid this registrar at any cost , the main reason i moved with them is because they are offshore , but it seems they are more strict/worst than the others.
Note:When the domain is on hold , you cant redirect/change the DNS or anything else , it will be down waiting for their mercy

That sucks, I was considering to buy domains from them because they have free privacy for life.
Anyone knows any other hosts which offer free privacy for life (not just 1 year or something like that)?
