Internet.bs warning

internet.bs was a 'reputable registrar'. that didn't stop them from behaving like royal dickheads and ruining their reputation. so namecheap could easily go the same way. I won't be transferring my domains out from them because I've already paid for this year and I haven't been spamming heavily with any of them. I was going to blast all of them heavily but now I guess I have to go easy on them.

what is the name of the xrumer friendly chinese registrar? and that's the only one? are you saying that PRQ.se would suspend domains due to spamhaus?

i took a look at tucows (fatcow) and their domains are over $20 if you include privacy, damn.

so what's a general list of the 'safe' registrars now?

Yeah, but they're probably safer than that chinese registrar.
You could also get them from a tucows reseller, they'll probably be cheaper.
How about name.com? They don't have anything mentioned about it in their policies

Its just 1 thread. Do you really make decisions based on 1 thread like this? Not trying to start anything here just saying, thanks for the advice anyways. Plus this is the first time I have heard something like this from internet.bs

We need more information from the OP to make a better assumption but even then we will not know if he is giving full details.

To purecig where you just backlinking domain or emailing?

Had you actually read the thread you'd have learned

1. Multiple other people in this thread reported the same thing happening. There were multiple other threads posted on the same day about the same thing as well. You did see them because you posted there as well.

2. I already said no to email. Just xrumer, which might be why botmaster chimed in. Someone else here said the same thing - no email spam, just backlinking.

You might also pick up these other tidbits

3. Sounds like the other people all got hit on the same night.
4. Spamhaus blacklisting domains for SEO is news to some of us.

And finally

5. Many who use internet.bs do so because they thought it is bulletproof. Multiple reports of internet.bs banning domains for SEO is about as far from bulletproof as you can get.

xrumer is spam.

This is a pet peeve of mine. The term "spam" is used way too broadly - "scrapebox spam", "xrumer spam", "senuke spam", and so on. Technically and legally, spam is unsolicited commercial email and only UCE. Using the term generically like "kleenex" for a facial tissue or "xerox" for a photocopy dilutes the meaning of the word. I saw a thread awhile ago where someone was arguing that blog comment spam was illegal under the CAN-SPAM Act (which it obviously is not - CAN-SPAM applies only to bulk email, but I think that's what throwing around the word "spam" for things other than UCE leads to).

Back on topic, internet.bs, what in the actual fuck? This doesn't sound like something they would do, unless there is more to the story.

You need to get real. but you're trying to convince yourself and that you should be able to do what you want because of that.

LOL, that's just retarded...

Retarded only begins to describe it. I actually lost brain cells reading the person's post and their follow-up arguments about why using a blog commenter was a CAN-SPAM offence.

This is crap .

So Basically do a spam email marketing for your comparator , and he will be gone . So why bother with SEO , just kill the one on the top one by one .

Shame on these lists and followers ......... Not fair as well.

Actually, according to this thread, no need to even do e-mail spam. Just blast a shitload of comments linking to your competitors' sites and you're good to go. Provided they're with internet.bs, of course.

I have many domains with internet.bs myself, and except one, I never got suspended.

I just contacted internet.bs and they told me they are no longer suspending domains because of Spamhaus.

Maybe they saw how much business they were losing.

Even if they are telling the truth, I have lost trust in them and I cannot risk my domains with them in the future. I will be spreading my domains across a small variety of different registrars, some onshore and some offshore.

It's not the responsibility of the registrar to police the fucking internet. Let the police, FBI etc do that. "Spamming" with Xrumer is not an illegal activity at all, especially mild profile spam. Internet BS has pissed on its own good former reputation as a safe, cheap offshore registrar, with the benefit of the site being in english not chinese.

Now that has GONE. Well done internetbs. In complying with the idiots at the corporation Spamhaus, you have successfully taken a sizeable shit on your own reputation and now you're BHW-Blacklisted along with Godaddy and others.

Why?
They made mistake once i doubt they will ever do that again. As far as i know they have always been recommended register.

But let see will anyone get another domain suspended.

If they suspend any of my domains their name will be ruined on the internet. I have Xrumer, millions of forums in my lists and a triple core i5 VPS. If they ever listen to those little bitches at the little corporation Spamhaus, I don't think their business would survive. Not just because of my warning everyone of their suspending domains, but because they are not as big as Godaddy and can be taken down. Godaddy I wish would go out of business, but unfortunately they are huge.

The moral of the story is: internet bs if you are reading this, stop being idiots and listening to the little bitches as Spamhaus. Blog commenting is NOT spam. Forum posting is NOT spam. You are NOT obliged to listen to the opinions of a random company, i.e. Spamhaus. Only a court order / government / criminal investigation warrants any action on a domain name. And even then, you're in the Bahamas so the court order must be in the Bahamas, US (Canadian, British or elsewhere) investigations shouldn't cause the removal of a domain which is the property of the domain owner who purchased it.

I personally think the owner / manager / director / supreme boss of internet.bs should email all customers and assure them that they will no longer be listening to the bitches at Spamhaus, and make that a damn promise, and apologise to any genuine customers who have been affected by this. Getting a domain suspended for a few blog comments is ridiculous.

There's a lot of truth here, and I hate the way this works, but unfortunately the court room is a different animal. People have been sued by Facebook under grounds of believe it or not "CAN-SPAM".

Surely they wouldn't win though, I mean, courts are bound to interpret the laws as they are, not how they wish them to be. I'm no expert on CAN-SPAM or american law, but if the law only covers bulk email spam, anyone who is tried for anything else should get off, and if not, then the appeal court should definitely rectify it.

I'm happy, I moved from the UK to a country where they just don't give a damn about this kind of thing because they were just getting too draconian. I can spam and pirate movies to my hearts content and nothing will happen...They even sell counterfeit goods in the big shopping malls lol.

That's completely true... thing is Facebook is rich enough to have the law interpenetrated as "email submits" being a violation of CAN-SPAM. I don't see Xrumer of SB falling under the same ultra broad interpretation though.
