So, now I have to transfer 100 some odd domains before they decide to suspend everything

got that same thing for one of mine few hours ago, first time it ever happened and i have been using them for like 3 years now.

And all you got to do to be listed in the spamhaus database is have some honeypot get an email with your domain in it ... regardless of where the email originated from?

So spam your competitor's email and have their website taken down.

It was from SEO, no mailing. So even better, all you gotta do is xrumer blast it with a list you already know will get it on spamhaus and their internet.bs domains are gone. In the meantime, time to get your shit off internet.bs

Damn, I thought it was great and moved a good bunch of my domains there...

Can you specify (in general terms) what you did to get it?

So what is a good alternative now?

But but.... I like internet.bs!!

And am I the only one who says bullshit in my head when I see internet.bs?

its the dumbest extension to use IMO lmao. everytime i see it i think bullshit as well.

after hearing this i'm going to stick with namecheap/netfirms I think

So basically you throw up web2.0s and only spam to them and not directly to your money site anymore.

Meanwhile you spam your competitor's site its a double whammy ... not only do they suffer from google bowling and sandboxing, they get their domain banned from their registrar.

Someone should sue Spamhaus for directly causing their website to be deindexed for reasons out of the website owner's control.

If my domain is forged in spam, will it be listed?
The DBL is built predominantly using automated spamtraps and email flow monitoring. It has many checks to prevent legitimate domains being listed. Even a large spam run that forges a legitimate domain will not cause a domain listing.

Nor is it possible for someone (say your competitor) to get your domain blacklisted by simply forging your domain and sending us a spam report. Spamhaus does not accept or process spam reports from the public.

Our system also ignores legitimate domains seen in backscatter bounce messages.
I don't know, I just looked up their DBL section to see what would cause someone to get stuck in that list, and it seems entirely email related, nothing to do with spamming links to other people's websites with links.

One of my favorite sites is bluehatseo.com ... the guy talks about how your website can be taken down and put on spammer list completely out of your control, interesting post ...

@phpbuilt that post first came to my mind when i read this topic
btw i also think of bullsh*t when i see internet :bsflag:

Well if this is true then internet.bs has just shot themselves in the foot, because they will lose a shitload of business over this.

Are you sure you haven't been emailing man, because I have been xrumering 24/7 for months and none of my domains are on spamhaus. (Of course, because spamhaus is for email spam not forum posting). Not even my static IP is on spamhaus, though a lot of emails in the range are , since it's xsserver.

lol i have an site, on unique IP, without any backlink, no promotion or whatsoever nor haven't used email from that domain for anything
and it's blacklisted there, why - i have no clue
once again LOL
but it is very easy to remove site from spamhouse

Actually, the very first line of the DBL section says "SEO" too, but then goes on for a few paragraphs only talking about email.

Ok I woke up this morning to 20 domains suspended

I was just using NHSEO on them and obviously it hit a trap somewhere for them

All you gotta do though is remove 2 at a time and then use a different computer and then come back to the original one -- it won't allow you to remove them all at once... also use a proper domain for email .. I've got 8 lifted 12 to go .. but i learn't my lesson

just spam Web 2.0 and not the money site when using these types of tools.

They're requiring manual removal, meaning must email from valid email on the domains registered info.

domains are anonymous, meaning only registrar's email is listed and cannot request removal.

registrar says "initiate transfer then we'll unlock them" - but need auth code. they will not issue auth code without unlocking them.

their response is "email tech"

internet.bs really is bullshit.

Well that sucks. Haven't got any domains suspended yet but I'm not going to buy anymore from them.
