great thread
i m following
Some good stuff over here.
I've read through the post but you haven't explained what or how a linkwheel looks like for you.
I've ran a check on your kw, it only gets 210 exact searches a month.
#1 has a number of backlinks aaf-houston.org. But if you run a check you most likely can see some cracks in their linking strategies. (Seo spyglass is a good friend).
Non the less this is interesting so i'm following
Good stuff!!
Questions:
1. approx age of site?
2. how much variation do you have in anchors?
Thanks
It seems like it'd be really easy to rank a city keyword... what are the exact monthly searches?
Brilliant case study, subscribed, lots of useful information, keep it coming thanks![]()
Pretty impressive jump! Do you have stats on traffic for that term now that you're sitting at #6?
Also I know you are doing the work in house but do you have cost estimate of what you have done so far (if you paid for the services)?
Also do you have any more info on competition (like how many results on google for the term in quotes)?
I have been lurking this thread since it started, nice to see the fast rise to page 1, I am sure the client is thrilled!Easily under $50 for all of the links and labor, only a couple hours of your time and you can make a quick couple hundred dollars.
For this particular "client", We aren't tracking web stats with these guys as it's a vanity keyword favor.
You mentioned this was in house tools, i.e automated so I am assuming there is nothing particularly special about these links?? 50 bookmarks
? 50 profiles
? 18 link linkwheel
? 1,500 profile links, drip rate 250/day (Note: This isn't recommended for new sites, this site is very old so it can handle more a day.)
Can you provide a list of tools used?

If there are could you share what that might be? I am sure I missed it in the thread, the linkwheel was in the form of articles, that much I got but are the articles placed in directories, web 2.0's or private blog networks?
