I was wondering. What is the difference between a trackback and a comment?

Also does this support comment spinning?

2 - my pc is 4 yrs old 2 gig of ram xp - runs fine
3 - i think its pp only

I'll answer the second question first. Yes, totally supports comment spinning using standard spintax like many other apps.

As for the first question, comments are...uh...comments posted in reply to articles or posts on various web sites (mostly blogs, but the app can be trained/modified to also attack other types of sites like forums etc.). Trackbacks are...explained here:

Thank you but I still don't see the difference between a trackback and a comment. I even watch a video on placing trackbacks last night and the form to leave one looked just like a comment form. I keep on rereading though but I guess its the problem with being a visual learner.

You could

A: google for it, its there, everywhere.
B: search the forum it alone is probably the core topic of hundreds of threads.
C: watch the many vidoes, including mine, which are linked to right from the official scrapebox tutorial section, its right under the help menu in scrapebox.


However since someone clearly deleted all the references too it everywhere while we weren't looking ...

You can do as mentioned above and use the backlink checker addon

you can also use the link: operator with google, bing and aol in the harvest function.

However you should invest more time in research, as you question could have been answered by you spending less time reading then it took me to type this post. If you continue to operate like that you will never be successful to the degree you can be both with scrapebox and internet marketing. Just saying, its a tell tale sign, and in your own best interest, do yourself a favor and help your self by reading and searching.

No, squidoo discards ping traffic. It could work on some sites, but it just depends, you would have to test it and see.

My ISP Comcast has a DNS highjacker..

They take all unresolved pages and show you a Comcast page. I think this make it impossible for me to use the domain checker. Any suggest an alternate DNS that doesnt ever highjack? I tried to disable the Comcast "service" and it is not disabling.

Comcast DNS is like the Pony Express, I had them once. The internet speed was triple my ATT connection, but their DNS was so slow I couldn't even load google.com when I turned my scrapebox connections up, ATT could support 3 times the connections on 1/3 the pipe.

So a comment is when you read the page and you want to chime in and give your thoughts, so you comment.

A trackback is when you post an article on your website and in it you include a link to antoher website. So your site is Site A and the site you link to is Site B. Well site B that is linked too sees that link and they take an excerpt from your article and link back to it on the same page you linked to. So site B links back to Site A.

Scrapebox fakes this for you so it looks like your site linked to theirs, so they will link back to yours, but in fact you didn't link to theirs.

I have a 250 gb limit. Trust me in some areas of the country they use a DNS hijacker that shows you a comcast page when you go to a nonexistent url.

Try typing in a url that does not exist. If it takes you to a Comcast page you aren't getting the best results from your domain checker.

In the addons menu, you can now download a new learning mode poster which is socket based and works like the ?Fast Poster? in ScrapeBox, it is also unicode compatible so you can leave comments in languages such as Chinese and Russian. So now you can train new platforms, and even things like website Contact Us forms etc.

I've been holding my breath for unicode support on SB since I bought it. Thanks for finally making this possible as it's going to open a lot of doors for those of us in foreign markets! Unfortunately, we still can't harvest using unicode keywords. Is there any chance of this feature coming in the future to round out the unicode support?

Problem: When I export the "posted" entries after doing trackbacks it only gives me like 1922 links, when I clearly have more. What is the problem here???

There is 2 new addons which allow you to harvest using keywords in any language. When you install them, one will integrate with the "Import" keyword button:

It will encode your keywords in a special format and send them back to the keyword box. Also when you export your URL's after harvesting the Export button now has a Unicode/UTF8 option.

So now it's possible to harvest in any language, and post in any language using the Learning Mode Poster. Also has anyone tried the learning mode, any feedback?
