You can try restarting your PC. Also you can go to help >> test server connection - in scrapebox if you have any red boxes then something is probably blocking scrapeboxes access to the authentication servers.

It sounds like its the proxies. An error 406 is when the request is submitted to the server and the request includes information about what the client will accept back and the web server can't give the client what it wants. (more or less)
In the case of scrapebox scrapebox submits the request to the engines to harvest results. Scrapebox submits the request fine, but something along the way (likely the proxy) is altering the request to say that it will only accept X as a result. The engines can't give back the X that is specified so they return a 406. That or the request is fine and the engines kick back as requested, but the proxy is then altering it and kicking back the 406.
Anyway, if it works with private proxies and without proxies then its the proxies. I would try some different proxies. Hop over to the proxies section here on BHW and grab a recent list and try that for starters.
Yes, the pinger is working fine. However it uses the standard ping protocol. Many stat programs now discount and don't track this type of traffic. So its not the pinger in scrapebox that isn't working, its the stat program on your site not recording that type of traffic. I have a video on it here that may be helpful:

However I would suggest that if you can't read good enough on the very first post to follow a link and read the purchase price, that you will have a hard time learning and effectively using scrapebox. If you want to get the benefit out of it, you are going to have to learn, which involves reading and watching videos.
You should definitely buy it, but put in some time or you aren't going to get the most out of it.
As always stop posting your transaction ID here! It makes it easier for someone to steal your license.

You can have anyone pay for Scrapebox for you. You just need to let the Scrapebox team know that this is the case. After payment is made you should use the contact form on scrapebox.com to notify them that someone else has purchased it for you, but you would like scrapebox registered in your name. - Your email
- Your name

Your copy of scrapebox is unlikely broken. It could be the proxies altering or not really sending the requests, but if it showed successful then thats not likley, however it could be the proxies in general.
As for auto approve, double checking that the link actually stuck in a different browser is always a good idea. Many times it can look like it stuck and it just showed approved for your session.
It can also be spam protection. Does it work differently in fast poster vs slow poster? Does it work fine in manual poster? Some spam protection still avoids scrapebox. They make it as compatible and robust as possible, but its not possible to make it compatible with every single blog out there.

I tested some proxies i bought but it gave me an error 400 bad request 52022. The supplier said the problem was with me, the proxies were working fine. Any ideas on how to fix this?

i just sent scrapebox a support email and noticed that their webhost is switching mail from 14 to 19, so be prepared for some hiccups.
btw i just bought a second version of sb and license went w/o a hitch.
then this morning i transferred my old license to my newest vps and that went w/o a hitch
so nothing really to worry about scrapebox support as always is great.
but can anyone answer this question that i cannot find an answer to?

I just bought it this year for $97... That was before I got exposed to BHW... If I only knew it was being sold here for only $57... Anyway, very powerful tool... I usually just use it for Keyword research... Haven't used the full potential... But I'm planning to do so and blast my YouTube videos...

Backlink Extractor - here you load your competitors url's. It will extract first 1000 backlinks/url in yahooexplorer.
The footprint "site:" you can use it to scrape from google all the site pages. If you don't know about queries, go and try them on google. See what they do.

Yes, read the tutorial thread TheMatrix posted. There are several other good threads here on bhw about ScrapeBox and a lot of ingenious ways to use it. Loopline's videos on it are awesome also and a great use of your time.
I've always found the app very intuitive, but I've been using it for a bit now.
My most common pieces of advice are:
a - there's so many things it can do, it could seem overwhelming; I'd suggest focusing on a few of the components, learning them inside and out, then move on to learning a few more
b - if you have some sites of your own to test on, shoot pieces of ScrapeBox at them so you can see how the results look to the site admin and to the users visiting the site
c - proxies proxies proxies - this has been one of the biggest things people have struggled with, the scraped proxies are a good start but you need to understand proxies and once you're really ready to use the app you're gonna want to have quality proxies and lots of them

Dude, seriously? Take some time and watch the million videos that are out there. Nobody is going to give you some "magic key". You have to learn how to use it. Start with the "Help" section, which provides links to 9-10 videos that will give you a good start. Then, do a google search. If you don't take the time to learn the right way, you'll never accomplish anything that your typical 1st grader couldn't do himself, which is to say you're destined for failure. Sorry, but that's just the way it is.

My ISP Comcast has a DNS highjacker..
They take all unresolved pages and show you a Comcast page. I think this make it impossible for me to use the domain checker. Any suggest an alternate DNS that doesnt ever highjack? I tried to disable the Comcast "service" and it is not disabling.

1 - you can run it on either your PC or a VPS; there are advantages to running it on a VPS but it's so light-weight in terms of resources that it will run on even a POS old PC
2 - minimal RAM, depending a bit on which module you're using, but overall is very resource-friendly; as for internet speed, it's neutral in that it will run on whatever speed you have but obviously the more bandwidth you have the faster it can work

4 - updates are free for life with your purchase, and no you do not need to begin again, it updates and retains all your settings
