I purchased scrapebox this morning (over 12 hours ago) and am not complaining because I can certainly wait for a product such as this but was wondering, out of curiousity, if it is normal for it to take over 12 hours. And if so, how long should it take?
On a side note, I have searched and searched and have not found any information on how to "safely" use scrapebox. I have a brand new domain and have read it would be advised not to directly spam that domain but spam others and have them link to my main domain. If this is the case, how should I go about doing that. Is there any possible way to "spam" (I'd assume the safe amount of use would not be spamming) my main domain without putting it at risk but still benefitting?

The only more or less "safe" way to spam your money site is to make sure "link velocity" stays controlled (assuming you don't leave huge footprints, that is). That means don't blast 10k links once and leave it at that. Start with 50/day, then 100, 150, 250, etc. Once you're done with it, start reducing the links downwards, aka 1000, 750, 500, 350, etc.
You can setup a lot of web 2.0 properties which link to your site and spam those.
Having said that there was a thread on another section of this forum where the OP was conducting an experiment where he would blast a site of his with mucho back links and see what would happen. Or something like that. It might be worth checking it.

I just read scrapebox can harvest emails, too. Is this true? If yes... how does it scrape those emails? If yes... I am interested to get it right away.

what happens if i buy a domain that has aged for like 1-3 years (i have read that you can do this)? can a person then spam links or because of the sudden outburst of links, it would be discouraged to do this?

Also, make sure you change your proxies as frequently as possible. As a rule of thumb, use private proxies for everything except scraping. Use ONLY public proxies for scraping as SE's tend to ban IP's really quick.
Also, as for spamming, I'd say if you are so much worried, then use SB to harvest extremely high quality pages, and then post manually to these pages. This will be slow, but ensure high quality of the link gained.
Try changing your setting a bit. Keep the timeout at 45 sec, and connections at 100.

Yes, this is true. You need to find pages, where emails are publicly visible. Load them in your harvester list, and use the 'Grab Email" option.
Well, there is some sort of 'error' in this thread. Even though I see 256 threads right now in the nav bar, the last one is 254, but that's something that doesn't harm anyone.

As a matter of fact. the top 4 threads of BST section are the top 4 most replied threads of BHW.
An aged domain is a good start.
Regarding linkbuilding en masse, people report different things. Some get sandboxed others don't. Who can say the factors involved for sure.
The thing to remember is that if your blasting out 20.000 links a day, google isn't going to discover them at the same rate and I think it is best to leave it like that.
Don't start pinging linkfeeds and such. Making google aware of your nefarious deeds may well get you sent to the sandbox where you can practise your castle building skills instead.

guys, we all know SB is a bandwidth hog with link checking using the link checker module, is there any other way you guys can improve it to not swallow a big flush of network resources when checking for 200,000 list sometimes will eat up hundreds of MB of bandwith.
hope this get sorted out or planned out in the next future updates.

25% success rate isn't actually that bad (you can improve it, but here's a few things to consider).
1 - new to scrapebox - get to know it better, that will help
2 - using AA lists - depending on the recency and method of gaining of the list harvests, some of the sites may have changed their moderation
3 - using your own IP will kill your success rate
4 - are you filtering out the high latency proxies found by SB?
And under some cases, once a backlink domain URL is blocked, its blocked by many other sites (e.g. by all sites that use aki$met)
Just a few factors to consider and test with while trying to increase your success rate.

I have never used anything other than SB Link Checker to check links. But here's a few tips that can help reduce network resources:
- Remove dupe domains from the list - YES!! No point in checking 10 pages of 1 domain. If 1 page is AA, then all will be (in most cases).
- Use a VPS with unlimited bandwidth
- Use the Blog Size Limit feature to spill off huge pages. This will also increase the posting speed.
Other than these, I can't come up with anything better.
Well, this might be because your connections are set to a higher value. Try reducing them, and increasing the timeout. Also, I highle recommend you use private proxies for posting.

Set the connections to 20-30. And use 10 private proxies form YourPrivateProxy.com
This will definitely help you increase success rate.
