Is $200 enough for ranking a Ultra High competitive keyword

My question is How much money in minimum to spend on SEO only to get 1st position for high competitive keyword like " free wordpress templates " .
If you search GGLE there are About 15,600,000 results.

Is it possible to built a blog/site today(from scratch)and rank 1st for such high competition keyword and ALSO what inputs it requires in terms of TIME and MONEY.

Though it depends upon who is doing SEO but if more experienced members can drop some light on this.

Do everything yourself manually and you'll save your $200 too.

You can rank for that KW but you need to build on regular basis for 7-8 months.

Hard work and patience is the key.

Not to forget, content is the king and backlinks are queen.

Unfortunately for some, people with the most funds to spend win in the long run. If your question is not hypotethical, I would suggest you start out by building micro nische adsense blogs or something similar.

Then, once you earned some money, you can slowely scale up and buy the services which you need.

For your information, I can tell you for sure that $200 is NOT enough. I know this from my own experience. You need atleast $100+ PER MONTH in order to grow the rank and eventually become first. I advice you try it manually.

Just remember that people who rank at the top of Google are making like 7-10k or something and if you were making that much - how much would you spend to keep it at that?

The first question must be - Can you get the keyword in the domain name ?

If you cannot you are faced with the possibility that some one who has it can follow you with a similar SEO mix and immediately outranks you.

The second question must be how many hours can you devote doing manually what most other guys are doing automatically.

I have a number of domains that are #1 in Google searches, but they only got there using automated SEO.

Things were very different 10 years ago, but I don't personally think you could get #1 today without using Auto SEO.

There are a number of Free tools in the members section, like MiniXrumer that will make it easier for you, but at the end of the day you will need to buy some firepower.

If you send me a PM I'll show you a way to get in the top 10 for under $200, but #1 would be pushing it.

Actually i do have a pr3 blog with same niche,posting in it for 1 year now without much backlinks and far from the first page.
I do have some money which i earn through fiverr and would really like to know if ranking for such high KV is possible with in $200.

The post above is absolutely correct. Heres my opinion:

1) $200 is not enough. For such a keyword, I think you need to invest around $300-500 PER MONTH until you achieve that status. I had a website and now I rank high (page 1) for runescape membership hack. I had to spend around $300 per month continuously for around 4 months before I hit the target. But then I made around $100 per day from sales on that website and in no time, I started making profit. I then sold the website and made around $500 profit overall.

2) Doing it manually will take a LONG TIME. A very long time indeed. You will need to buy programs such as SENuke X, xRumer and Scrapebox. Those 3 programs alone will exceed 200$. I advice you just save up, and maybe once you have over 1000$, then think about going to page 1.

Interesting thread. Definately the answer is NO unless you do everything manually and somehow you manage to spend your $200 perfectly.
However, buy some software and start with micro niche sites, do research, read BHW and implement. There are tons of success stories where you can learn A LOT (I myself have learned the most by such stories of guys who brag and share their methods, I see 1 new thread almost everyday about such guys)
Better don't strike so high and do things "from zero to hero"

Even if you are doing this manually you can lose a lot of time and fail at the end. Your time is worthless, use it smart

Yes,i have only KV wordpress in my domain name, no free wordpress templates.

1 thing that can be done is that i create a sub domain with "free wordpress templates" and starts backlinking to the subdomain.
Now the question is can a subdomain match the exact match domain name .

I regret if this sounds confusing !!!
But looking for some hope
