I Called Google Today & They Dont Like Affiliates!

this is so funny ; when I am checking your signature :chicken_w ; you made my day lool

I said that because I was suggesting OP to stay away from Google adword banhammer- which is very likely in case you are into affiliate marketing with adwords.

But in case you decide to go ahead anyway then my services are always available;) I don't want to get projects by telling people to start affiliate marketing with adwords- that would not be in their best interest, specially if aff marketing is the main goal of their website. MSN Adcenter are now doing the same- banning affiliate marketers like crazy. Second tier PPC networks looks like the best option if you are really interested in affiliate marketing with PPC- hence I suggested Facebook Ads or Bidvertizer.

Are second tier PPC networks really good choices? I have been hearing a lot of stories that they "burn money" quickly, meaning they can send many clicks in few hours, but those clicks do not bring in conversion. I wonder how they generate those clicks. I don't mean not trusting Facebook Ads, but how about Bidvertizer, is it trustworthy?

Last December they banned one of my domains, cause I was running an adWords campain redirecting from my domain to an cb offer. But it was written in their rules that iFrames and redirecting to other sites is not allowed for landingpages. So it was my fault not reading the rules properly.

After the ban I had big trouble to get my domain unbanned. The funny thing was that there was hosted just a blog which was not connected with my cb offer sites. The landingpages where htmls which have not been connected to the main site. I deleted every html which was connected with the cb offers and the google guys startet complainig about the links in my blog which was never involved in the cb campain. They stopped this when I wrote an email complaing about their harassment. So it seems they become really nervous and start to hyperventilate if somebody breakes their rules.

They grow more an "Internet-N*zi-Attitude" mercy killing all the in their eyes worthless websites out there. Maybe its a little to hard, but this is what I was thinking after all the problems with those guys who took for 3 months more than 1000 $ a month for advertising my my cb offers and then suddenly decided to kick me out of the game.

Google will continue to ban affiliates because they know that majority of affiliates know the tricks of google adwords to get more impressions at little cost.

Google are more interested in big companies with fat budget for adwords who are ready to pay $100 per click for what an affiliate would pay $0.05 for.

It's nothing new. Google has a term called "thin affiliates", which they hate. If you have a landing page that talks about some other guys' products, you will be labeled as thin affiliate and they will punish you the same way they punish doorway page owners.

Another thing I've noticed is that if you start getting big, google will assign a rep for you who will go through your keywords and ads. Then they will slap you hard.

Affiliates can still get away with CB and other sh!tty products as long as you don't spend too much in that account. all you have to do is create a bunch of google accounts from different location, credit cards and IDs and run campaign and don't spend more than $1000 from each account. This won't guarantee better lifetime with google.. but chances are they won't dig and let you get away with many things. This model is sort of proven to an extent ;-)

If you think about review sites, you won't be able to get away. Bottom line, google guys need real publishers promoting in google.. not some bad boys like some of us here. however they like comparison shopping sites, such as bizrate, pricegrabber, etc.

I got you ; well, FB ad is getting hard as hell - pain in ass to get ad approved and high cpc. Tier networks should be a good choice, but some of them have plenty of bulk traffics too...

It depends on which one you choose and what offer you are promoting with them ; usually zip and email are good

i hate google adwords, they just look for the quickest way to burn through your money with little regard for any return to the customer.

Even affiliates with good landers are getting struck by Google these days. So, I depend on SEO for getting Organic traffic for all my affiliate keywords.

they do it quite often. but big guns like me can swim around and make handsom living bypassing them. lolx

I wouldn't even bother with Adwords PPC for affiliate programs. As others have posted here you'll have more success with other channels such as FB or POF and have better demographic choices as well. The days of using Google Adwords for your landing page and making big $$ on affiliate programs is over unless you are using redirects which you will most likely get banned for if they catch you.

There are still ways of doing business with Google guys do not give up...

Forget creating one page LP or Squeeze Page that just does not work try to build authority site or blog around your market and Google will love you...

Days when you could start advertising on Google just by direct linking are gone so move on... Now you will have to put in some time and money creating a website that visitors and Google love...

Sooner you realize days of direct lining are gone faster you will start making money with Google again...

I hope this helps,

P.S. If you still want to direct link just move to FB, PoF and others...

Google have been dislike affiliates years ago.. :) Google wants small business owner and big companies to advertise with them.. Affiliaters will only small amount of money with them. They want big money from big companies and also small owners that willing to spend thousands with them every months.

That's wonderful. Now how do I get these multiple IDs and credit cards to go with them??

I got banned for the same reason. What the hell are they doing???? They asked me to modify the site but I coudn't coz that was CB products and I do not own the site.

My exact same experience. Stupid Adwords geeks deciding how we can make money.

Its Okay, Google's stock keeps going down and down.
I'm glad about this & they deserve it!
The joke is on them.
