Xrumer is definitely not a necessity to buy. In the beginning you should use the Services available in the threads here on BHW from other members.
Xrumer is also very hard to learn due to its learning curve so some of you should never purchase it (those with no programming, coding skills) and just stick to the services.
It's anywhere between $15-$70 for a blast while the program is over $500 so it's definitely not necessary to purchase.

This is a great post, I especially am enjoying the indexing tools. While I already have my sites indexed in Google, I figure it won't hurt to use them anyway.
Quick question: Statcounter vs Google Analytics. I'm assuming the former is superior because of its real time stats? Because you seemed to be against Google Analytics and I'm curious about why that is from your view. From my experience, I enjoyed how Statcounter would detail out the latest page view with information on their location. That's one benefit that I see but it also seems to lack as far as GUI is concerned. A bit tedious if you ask me.

Statcounter is good for:
real-time analytics
user spying (LOL)
Google analytics gives charts, breakdowns of bounce rates, conversion rates (if conversion feature installed properly), simple GUI for mass analytical usage like entry pages, impressions - clickthrough rates (since it's a part of Google), etc.
Basically, as an analytical tool - Google analytics is superior
Statcounter has only last 500 visits (unless premium member) and doesn't really break everything down to graphs, charts, percentages, etc.
It just shows you real-time stats with a simple interface for short-term info.
I use Both. You need to use each one for their strengths to get the most out of the statistics.
