How do you rank for a common keyword in SERP?

So the headline tells it all.
All of them, that want to share their experiences how they rank their website for a huge volume keyword please post here for other members to learn.

Mine would be, analyze competition and defeat them by doing proper SEO, PPC and so on. Using some tools such as Market Samurai, Xrumer.... really helps.

All invited to share their strategies with other members and the websites they rank for the common keyword they selected.

all of those peple who know how to rank for long tail keywords and do not know how to rank for such common keywords, may be helped.

If you don't want to help other became better, and learn than that's your decision to make.

I know that there I people willing to help out, others - to work as they do.

i believe there is 100's of threads already flowing on our BHW already.. use bhw search box effectively and thats my effective way of ranking.
