Ok so I've been scraping now for about three weeks and posting to a couple urls on two of my sites. I've got about 800 blog comment links that have indexed over that time on each one. I've got the anchor text of the two-keyword phrases which also appears in the urls. Now the serp position of each one has dropped significantly in direct relation to the time the backlinks appeared.

What am I doing wrong?

Probably just Google dance... Just keep building links and you should be fine... You can never tell when you are going to rank for your keywords... There are to many variables... For some of my sites I was able to rank after few days and few backlinks and for some it took me months...
