Umm slight problem with Scrapebox It can't be good at creating high quality links.

wordpress & moveable type: nofollow by default. Jack All SEO Benefit.
Blogengine: ******** by default?? but slow as duck as needs to be run in slow mode!

Please expand on blogs type to take on drupal, blogger etc. in fastmode!

Nofollow still has SERP ranking benefit, it just doesn't pass page rank. Furthermore yahoo and Bing don't use it, and they comprise 25% of search.

Next as of a long time ago (in internet marketing timeframe), sbox supports blog engine in fast poster.

In short, your missing the boat, and Im not even sure if your near the ocean, but you should get there, or you will be left behind.

Two questions from a newbie...

First - Why when harvesting there is no action from Bing? (Also what is this bing api?)
Secondly - When I harvest (have around 400 keywords) it completes, has 110k results, but then I save the not completed keyword list and reload it, and it shows that 340 keywords remaining, then I start again and get more url's? Should I keep doing this manually until it finishes or what is the case here? (Im using public proxies)

Also it would not hurt, if someone would tell me how to add more public proxy places, where do you find them or in what format are those public proxy sharing places?

Click Options -> Bing API ID's, and you'll see a link there to get a bing api id. Have to have one to scrape bing.

Just so you know this is probably in the Top 5 "Most Asked and Already Answered in this Thread" questions.

Huge numbers of blogs are often moderated, meaning the owners screen comments before letting them get posted. So Scrapebox will show that your comments got posted, but of course has NO control over any sites moderation settings, so you should always try and make your comments as relevant as possible to get past this process.

Plus you can always dig through and grab some huge lists of auto approve blogs and just post to them instead. There are tutorials galore in this thread to show how to do that.

One problem i have just had and wanted to check with you guys.

Just ran backlink checker and got an access violation error, after i had clicked download all.

is this because it is still downloading and i just need it to finish or I tried to scrape too big a number of urls and the system just doesn't handle it?

I think I was probably downloading from it over 10000000 urls so i'm pretty sure i was well over a cap. just wanted to check.

i'm probably going to split the seed file down and run it in smaller batches.

Can you quote your source please, as to where you found out that Nofollow links are still beneficial towards improved SERPs. I just find it unusual becausse nofollow was implemented in order to prevent SERP manipulation but you're stating here that nofollow does actually help manipulate SERPs?

It seems a bit of a contradiction....

You could always try googling for the info since it was google ALONE who instituted the nofollow attribute system. I think you're confusing the word serps with google somehow as Bing, yahoo and all the other search engines have serps (search engine ranking pages) too and totally and completely ignore the nofollow attribute.

Google doesn't ignore nofollow links either by the way, they just don't count them towards their own invention of Pagerank and will keep adding them to their indexing all day long.

So there's no contradiction in what was said but there is a bit of misunderstanding on your part I think.

Screw everything you read. It doesn't matter, there is as much misinformation spread as there is information.

There is only 1 way to know for sure. Science. Try it, observe it, test it and measure the results.

I make a lot of money from nofollow links, as do many others. If you want some use them, if you don't quote Wickipedia.
