Facebook Sues Maxbounty...Wow!!

Facebook are jokers they just don't like spam and they want to blame someone. Maxbounty
have not done anything wrong it's down to their affiliates, but facebook
know that they cannot take individual affiliates to court because it would cost too much
so they are going after the companies instead.

They face a uphill struggle because there are hundreds of other affiliate companies out there
who's affiliates spam Facebook and twitter.
 
i wonder if MB can just tell FB to eat a dick cuz they are in another country...I know i would

i dont think MB is gonna withhold payments becuz of this...this think is gonna take some time to play out...and even if FB gets a judgement...MB can just go bankrupt and start another company...all their pubs will follow them cuz they have a good rep.
 
Its a part of their (Facebook's) business plan.

Till now they have won $1.5 Billion in law suits for spamming, which is a record.

Step 1. They let spammers spam the *F**K* out of facebook, making user's lives miserable.
Step 2. Gather evidence against big aff. companies involved.
Step 3. Sue them and make millions.

In the end, the who lost what

PPL get spammed, Affiliate networks lose money, advertizers get troubled.

Facebook makes $$$$$$. If facebook stopped them right in the beginning, which they are very much capable of, they would not be spammed and would never make extra $$$$$$

you might want to read what facebook are suing them for. Maxbounty was actively telling the affiliates to spam facebook and also offering incentives to do it.

but from their perspective...they are providing value for the info trade off...also u have to realize...its their site so they can do what they want with it...the ill thing about it tho is zuckerberg and his programmers were blackhats in the beginning...their investors are prolly the ones making a big stink over this shit

So true! First Facebook lets us SPAM on their site, lol. Then they tighten the security a bit (not much what they can do), make a news out of it to make its users feel good then let the shit going on. And in the end finds someone to sue to make billion bucks! :| And when they win, they again become BIG DADDY in eyes of its users and then the same sit goes on. lol. Play small and be safe. ;)
 
I dont think fb lets us do anything...we just find exploits for the loopholes they provide...they think of how to make the user experience better while we think how to capitalize on those features

Yeah before posting make sure you read the case. Facebook looks like they will win. And plus i'm not shocked. They troll these forums looking for ways to get people.
 
All FaceBook is good for is spamming.

And you can always tell journalists who know sweet f' all about IM. They refer to spamming as scamming.

Two entirely different entities.

This is to warn all facebook spammers to atleast be careful. But I don't think Facebook will go over wherever MB is located and come to their office with a lawyer with 500,000 copies of lawsuits. Just plain BS and a joke
