I got mine from YourPrivateProxy.com and so far they are working well for me. Seems like a lot of other SB users get their private proxies from them as well.

Exactly what are you talking about? If you were trying to quote an earlier post in the thread to ask if you get free updates then yes. Thus far all updates have been free and available to everyone.

im using youprivateproxy and seem that the proxy keep on unresponding after a few harvesting..

sometimes my posted comment stop at some level but my failed comment keep going on .. so in the end i got like 1% success rate.

anyone can assist?

my 5 cents about ScrapeBox
i bough aproximatly 1 month ago. As i newbie i was suprised in 2 things:
1: i need to spend a bit more of extra buck for private proxies each month (common sense tells non private proxies sucks)
2: captha...of course i am rookie and i missunderstand: supports captha. this does not mean at all captha would work...this just mean you have abitly to use external captcha decrypter and spend extra money each month. (CORRECT ME if i am wrong, please)
So just a warning for new buyers

Now about program, harvesting and all that thing, thats excelent, harvesting and pr checks works fine on my fast line (with private proxies).
The bad side (AGAIN CORRECT ME if i am wrong, becouse i really need help with this) is posting. Pinging worked okay, but i had big problems with comment posting to WP. Virtualy no success at all

Then i tried manual posting (without scrapebox), and in like 90% i get blank pages after i hit "post" on some random WP site. I am totaly confused. I found some small numbers of 6-7 high PR sites, on some i managed to post manualy with browser, but like i said in 90% cases i get blank page after hitting submision for (i tried without proxy, i get same effect WITH proxies in scrapebox). Any idea why ?

So far my 5 cents:
1: harvesting, pings, pr checks = good
2: posting to WP sites = almoust zero success (although scrapexo says post was made...but after i check on sites nothing is there)

@iknowjack - well you know, most of what you're posting has been discussed many many many times...and some strategies and methods have been shared - a*lot*

I'm not gonna rehash proxies, that's been discussed ad nauseum. Captcha usage is totally up to each user, it can increase your success rate if you want to give it a go but I was successful with ScrapeBox before it even had captcha support.

As far as posting, the bottom line is you bought a tool and started using it without learning much if anything about it, and now you've gotten yourself blacklisted with one or more groups (hence the blank pages when posting on your own - you're in the penalty box, and that's due to your own choices and usage).

Maybe take the timeout that aki$met and who knows what other groups have nailed you with to learn the app more...

Has anyone ever figured out when you start seeing good traffic from your commenting?

I mean if you take a site and start commenting today would you start to see good SEO traffic in 3-4 weeks.

Try to run the test few times and you will get better result. I usually run about 5 - 8 test round until I get maximum 1 fail proxy. That might help

How's today going? Hope it's great

The thing is I'm getting mad!

I've installed scrapebox on my dedicated server. For the first time i bought some private proxies and used google harvester, and after that yahoo harvester continously for more than 24 hours! It was working excellent! After that i gave it a rest and made an another run.All of a sudden the private proxies got blocked!!!

Oh!k next i used freshly harvested free proxies.with yahoo harvester.It's not working now!(Connections: 50)

The bandwidth used goes on increasing like 200kb, 500kb.......but zero results!
I restarted. Now it was harvesting at 70 urls/second.But when the no of harvested urls touches 674 it stops! and the speed drastically reduced to 12 url's/second...and then to 2 urls/second!
I even used withour proxies.Still the same...

I tried and tried and again the same is coming for more than 1 and a half days!
Also, the same with other search engines!

I switched off the firewall! changed firewall rules, used cc cleaner, used hidemy IP...and sorts of things ...But no use!

No antivirus installed! on dedicated server!

Now when i do connection testing. the lights flicker between red and green..and after sometime all turns to RED!!!

I'm really feeling like a psyche sitting in front of the pc all day long!Its a wonderful tool but i dont what the problem is! This has even happened before on my home pc.

I've installed scrapebox on win 7 machine running on VMWare!

Please guys help me! I cannot sit on my pc anymore!

No you sent 3 emails within 14 hours all today, and 2 of those came in while i was asleep so i have no idea where this 2 days came from.

If the proxies got blocked this isn't a ScrapeBox problems as such "but" if the connection test is showing red lights then the problem is possibly the firewall blocking the connection. Have you tried simply rebooting the server?

sweetfunny, these 2 days i cant use scrapebox to do what it can do.

Sometimes i can scrape, do PR check, analys blog but somtimes cant. Using proxy or not, is the same. Im using the default setting comes from the software.
