Hi everyone! My name is Daniel. I’ve been running a blog since 2019 and started working in affiliate marketing in 2021. I mainly focus on MVAS and sweepstakes offers.
Today, I’m going to share a detailed case study on how I made over $1,000 in 40 days using popunder traffic from OctoClick and an MVAS/WAPCLICK offer from Juddy.biz.

Strategy
I started by creating two separate popunder campaigns: one targeting Android users and the other targeting iOS users. I allowed each campaign to spend up to $5 before pausing it for optimization.
I also set an hourly budget cap of $1 for each campaign and let them run for several hours to collect enough data for analysis.
Optimization
After the initial spend, I filtered out the site IDs that had spent more than three times the offer payout without generating profitable results and added them to the blacklist. My goal was to identify the best-performing site IDs and scale them.
Some site IDs performed well on Android but poorly on iOS, while others showed the opposite pattern.
I also noticed that some site IDs were generating conversions but were still running at a negative ROI. Instead of blacklisting them immediately, I lowered the bid and monitored their performance over time. This optimization process can take 2–3 days, depending on the offer payout and the vertical.
Results
After 40 days of running the campaigns, the results were impressive: the ROI reached 134%, as shown in the screenshot above.

Tip
The time of day and day of the week can have a significant impact on conversion rates. A site ID that performs poorly today may become profitable tomorrow—or even at a different hour on the same day.
Don’t make optimization decisions too quickly. Give the data enough time to reveal meaningful patterns before adding placements to the blacklist.
Author’s Conclusion
One of the reasons I like the OctoClick ad network is its detailed built-in reporting. It provides almost everything needed to optimize campaigns, so in many cases, there is no need to use a third-party tracker.
