Create a PBN in 2025 / 2026, still worth it ?

Do you think building your own PBN is still worth it?
Would you put the effort and money nowadays into building your own?
And if so, would you use it only for your websites or also do sponsored articles for others?

Building your own PBN can still work, but it’s risky and costly. I would love to focus on safer link-building methods. If I did build one, I’d use it only for my own sites, not for others.

Thanks for your response! Do you think PBNs are really not a safe way to build backlinks? If it is detected by Google or others SE, then all your hardwork is gone?

still worth it if you’re serious about SEO long term the control you get over anchor text, timing and link placement is hard to replicate any other way.

A PBN will just give you a bunch of sites to control and point links to your money sites from. If they are all setup individually and uniquely it shouldn't be detectable and once it is setup you get a clean lifetime link for a small fee every year (per pBN site).

I say PBNs are still strong in 2026.

Having a network of properties that you have 100% control of and can that even potentially bring in their own revenue depending on how much effort you want to put into them? Sounds exponentially better than fishing for guest posts.

PBNs can still work in 2025/2026 if they’re built carefully with clean expired domains, unique hosting, real looking content and proper relevance !

The problem is most people cut corners and that’s usually what gets networks devalued or detected....

I've seen successful PBNs in recent years, but they tend to be treated like real websites rather than link farms.
The barrier to doing it properly is much higher now.
Cutting corners usually shows up sooner or later.

I think PBN is worth it. If you have casino clients, specially casino clients.
