You can only pick ONE for the next 12 months:

A) Unlimited high-authority backlinks
B) Perfect content team + topical authority
C) Insider knowledge of every Google update before rollout
D) Unlimited budget for SEO testing

No cheating. No “all of the above” What are you choosing and why?

I would go for D

with unlimited testing budget I can do A and B and at that point I wouldn't even need C :D

This should have been a poll.

I pick C.

Because all other options are hit or miss. C is not.
I agree but i need valid statements to understand better so i did not opt for poll and thanks for your participation. Knowledge is power always.

C is one of the core factor which is needed you cannot omit it but yes. You have a different level of thinking mate good.

its a tough call betwen C/D

I'll go for C
purely so i can sell knowledge for money
The SEC HAS NOTHING ON ME

also, does C comes with knowing the actual algo?

Id have to go with B. High authority links are great, but with the way Google has been hitting sites lately, having a perfect content team and established topical authority feels like the only way to actually stay safe long-term. If the content is genuinely the best in the niche, the links usually start coming in naturally anyway. Plus, its a lot easier to sleep at night not worrying about the next link spam update nuking your progress.

I would like to go with option A, because all backlinks can not be ignored by Google.

B --> If the content were perfect and you can prove to G that you have all the info around the Topic, I think not only would you attract free links as well as be pushed to the Top for Users!

A because backlinks are still hugely important.

Unlimited high authority backlinks means could you could brute force content into the index.

C is all about gaining knowledge and knowing the exact algo to implement it in a right way.

Google updates have turned, powerful content systems and real topical authority just seem far more resilient over time than big systems leaning on link power. If your website repeatedly delivers better topical authority than the others, addresses searcher intent and builds trust through your website you'll be less exposed when link updates occur. ( Interesting selections )

B

I would rather have a team behind the content that I make, as thats the only thing that is an asset you can own. The rest you are a bystander of a third party circumstances even if you have unlimited knowledge/budget.

In the real world thats my problem anyway right now! lol

I’d probably go with B. Strong topical authority and good content tend to hold up better long term than most shortcut strategies.

From what I’ve seen, backlinks work a lot better when the site structure and content are already solid. A lot of people treat links as the whole strategy instead of an amplifier.

I'd go with option D, unlimited budget for seo testing. With that kind of cash, I could figure out the best strategies and then probably just buy all the other options anyway
