Hello ,
Trying to grow organically on Instagram without ads.

What is actually working for your right now ?
1) Posting frequency ?
2) Content type ?
3) Engagement tricks that still work?

Focus on consistency over volume—1–2 quality posts daily works best. Short-form reels with strong hooks outperform everything. Reply to comments fast, use niche hashtags, and engage in similar pages. Also, carousel posts and storytelling captions still drive solid organic reach.

What’s been working most is making content that’s easy to watch and easy to react to, not just posting a lot. Even one strong reel a day can do more than a bunch of average posts. Short, fast moving content usually wins. Carousels still work if they teach something quick. For engagement, I wouldn’t chase “tricks” too much, just give people a reason to reply, save or share. That matters way more than trying to game the app.

What seems to be working:

Posting frequency: Consistent Reels + Stories daily, carousels 2-3x/week. Focus on quality timing over spam.

Content type: Short Reels with trending audio (hooks first 3s), value-packed carousels, niche Stories for retention.

Engagement tricks: Reply fast/deep to comments, DM top engagers, polls/Q&A in Stories, micro-collabs with similar accounts.

Test what your audience saves/shares most.

And good luck ;)

Post dope content engage real peeps and stay consistent and watch your followers climb

Consistency matters more than posting a lot — even 1 solid Reel daily can outperform multiple average posts.
Short, engaging Reels with a strong hook + value-driven carousels are working best right now.
For engagement, focus on real interaction: reply to comments fast, ask simple questions, and create content people want to save or share.

Also - don't buy fake followers, or at least not many, and better remove them once the account gains traction.

It may make, on a first look, a starting up account look more established or popular then it is, but it is easy to spot and recognize, brings no interaction at all (as these zombie accounts usually only exist to follow other accounts) and generally makes your account into a low engagement one.

The more generic engagement there is the better.

pull up some interesting content check edits trends and go for it any niche

before you post, spend that time genuinely comment on accounts in your niche and give thoughtful replies. it warms up your accounts and u are visible to their followers before you post content.

u can also engage with followers of accounts similar to yours and leave good comments.

Prioritize 'shareable' content like relatable memes or controversial takes within your niche to trigger the initial organic push. Instagram is heavily favoring shares over likes right now, so your content needs to be something users feel compelled to send to their friends immediately

Post reels (1-2) each day; then a use 5-10 hashtags; then make sure to change the hash and meta data in case you plan to repost ; and that should be good for getting exposure.

Reels are the only thing that really moves the needle right now so try to post at least 4-5 times a week, make sure your hook is super strong in the first two seconds so people don't scroll past.
Also spend ten minutes right after you post replying to every comment to help the algorithm push your stuff to more people.

Content: Focus on 'Shareable' content. If people save or share your Reel, Instagram will push it to more people.

1) you should post 2-3 times per day. 2) reels work the best. 3) mother and child accounts, you get followers on your child accounts and funnel them to your mother account in order to avoid bans etc.

Posting frequent is not the key for page growth with Instagram but quality and good content upload could secure fast growth and engagements on caption and trend hash pages posts for fast page growth.

are you finding that posting frequency has a bigger impact on growth than the type of content you're posting?

IG is pay to win.
You pay for shoutouts, ads, pinned comments. That's how you get traffic.

For new accounts, I just keep it simple. I post 1 reel a day at the start, focused on reels with engaging text + captions. Once the account hits a few hundred followers and the trial reels feature unlocks, that’s when I scale a bit… usually 2 regular reels + 2 trial reels with 3 - 4 hours gap between them. I also start adding 1 story per day once there’s some decent follower base.

Consistency seems to matter most right now. Regular posting, short reels and content people can quickly relate to usually perform best. Also replying to comments and engaging in your niche still helps organic growth over time.

Posting consistently and sticking to one clear content style helps the most. Short videos and simple, relatable post get better reach right now, especially with regular engagement. Nothing fancy really, just being active and consistent seems to work.
