Guys can someone tell if scrapebox can do this. I want to scrape this specific google result:

Code:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=tl&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q="Community+Forum+Software+by+IP.Board"+inurl%3A%2Findex.php%2Fuser%2F&cts=1282929574814&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=

I want scrapebox to scrape all the url's in that result..

I tried to use the custom footprint but it gets nothing. I used this footprint
Code:
"Community Forum Software by IP.Board" inurl:/index.php/user/
and paste it to the one line input box. I think custom footprint will not work if you have 2 google operators in one query???

No, you wrote you pasted it into the one line input box...
I wrote to paste it into the keyword box, not the footprint box.
You just have to make sure that custom footprint is selected.
Doing that, I get results...

just got this but still waiting for activation request..

would it be possible to rank for a 139,000 competion keyword "79,000"

I did that as well. But I get different result from the google result I posted.. Its not accurate.

sweetfunny, could you add an option to scrapebox like the log option of friendblasterpro so that all urls we put comments on are logged automatically to a text file so we don't comment on them again by mistake?

Basically what friendblasterpro does is put every myspace user id that we send messages to in a text file. There is an option called "skip profiles i've sent a message to before" that if we check it will automatically skip previously messaged profiles by checking that log file (text file). The log file has 4 options (clear log, edit log, import log, export log). I wonder if scrapebox could have its own log file and maybe put the urls there automatically that we have sent messages to.

Everytime I scrape for urls I have to import my previously commented url file and check for duplicate urls just to be sure. Having a log file of previously commented blogs and an option so that scrapebox skips previously commented blogs would save us some time and make things simpler.

any chance this can scrape emails, siteurl etc from certain keyword results soon? ie from google etc.

is this working right now? sorry a bit busy to completely backread. check the userguide and I don't see it.

all the best,

F

Hi, any plans to port a version of this to Mac OS X? My stupid PC recently blew up and although I'm like a monkey trying to use a stick on this thing, unfortunately I'm stuck with it.

I haven't read this thread for quite a while, so am not fully up-to-date with the latest.

Does anyone have a problem with SB maxing their CPU out, and almost locking the PC?

Is it possible to keep the page with highest PR when filtering out unique domains?

Click the "PR" header to order the URL's from highest to lowest and then remove dupe domains.

Trackbacks dont seem to work for me any ideas? Like it says success I check and naffin there

If they said success then the blog replied with specific xml that said it worked, ScrapeBox doesn't guess if it worked. Post a Trackback to your blog and check it in your WP dashboard.

I did that as well. But I get different result from the google result I posted.. Its not accurate.

If it's not accurate then either the proxies used in ScrapeBox are showing different results based on geo-location or the 10 result search page has some differences to the 100 results pages which ScrapeBox uses.

The local blacklist can essentially do this. Whatever domains are in the blacklist are skipped when harvesting, and also stripped from your list when loading URL's in to the Harvester or Poster.

Any fix to the BE commenting issue?

Which issue is that?

Here is a short video on how the email extractor works:

Unfortunately no, however it will work on a Mac with various Windows emulation like Parallels.

And emil9216, no it doesn't post to forums just blogs.

No that's a new one to me, when does this happen?

Could you add an option that we can select so that urls we commented on/sent trackbacks to are added to the local cloud list automatically? That would pretty much do what friendblasterpro does.

Its happens on the Slow Poster. Usually once it's done about 100 posts or so, SB sometimes crashes and restarts...but eventually the CPU maxes out...and I have to end-task.
