How do large agencies manage dozens or hundreds of Facebook business pages safely?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to understand how large agencies or experienced social media managers safely handle dozens (or even hundreds) of Facebook business pages.

My main concern is this:

If I manage many business pages from a single personal Facebook profile (via Business Manager) and regularly post photos or videos on those pages, I’m worried that Facebook might flag the personal profile for spam or apply restrictions.

A few specific questions:
  • Is managing and posting for many pages from one personal profile a real risk, even if everything is done through Business Manager?
  • Does using time delays (for example posting every 1–2 hours, not back-to-back) significantly reduce the risk of restrictions?
  • Do agencies usually split pages across multiple personal profiles, or is one “main” trusted profile enough?
  • Is there any real benefit in using an antidetect browser for this kind of setup, or is it overkill if the workflow is clean and manual?

I’m not talking about automation or aggressive posting — just normal content publishing and page-to-group posting, spread across the day.

Would love to hear from people with real, long-term experience on what actually works and what setups to avoid.

Thanks

Large companies will manage those business pages in a systematic way. They use MetaBusiness Manager instead of personal accounts, assign permissions based on roles and hierarchy, and use two-factor authentication (2FA).

If you use Business Manager correctly, you usually just need one well-established personal profile, which is low-risk. Instead of volume, pay attention to normal posting behavior, adequate spacing between posts, and consistent page activity. Most problems occur from setting things up too quickly or in a strange way, not from just managing a lot of pages. It's usually wiser to keep things simple, clear, and steady than to make the setup too complicated.

Managing many Pages from one trusted personal profile via Business Manager is normal and low-risk if everything is manual and compliant. Posting with natural pacing helps, but account age, clean history, and a verified BM matter far more than timing tricks, and antidetect browsers are overkill for legit agency workflows.

Large companies will manage those business pages in a systematic way. They use MetaBusiness Manager instead of personal accounts, assign permissions based on roles and hierarchy, and use two-factor authentication (2FA).

Large agencies usually manage many pages from one or a few trusted profiles inside Business Manager without issues. If the activity is legitimate, permissions are clear, and you’re posting normal content (not automation or spam patterns), the risk is generally low.

Larger companies usually manage their Pages in a structured way. They rely on Meta Business Manager rather than personal profiles, assign access based on clear roles and responsibilities, and enable security measures like two-factor authentication to protect their assets.

Managing many Facebook Pages from one trusted personal profile via Business Manager is generally safe; Meta expects agencies to work this way and volume alone doesn’t trigger restrictions. Spacing posts helps keep behavior natural, but using clean Business Manager access and compliant content matters far more than delays or antidetect browsers.

When Business Manager is used properly, one well-maintained personal profile is usually enough and carries relatively low risk. Rather than focusing on volume, it’s better to keep activity natural - post at reasonable intervals, maintain consistent Page updates, and avoid sudden or unusual changes. Most issues tend to come from rushed or overly complex setups, not from managing multiple assets. Keeping things simple, clear, and steady is often the most reliable approach.

Managing multiple Facebook Pages through Business Manager is secure, and using proper access permissions and compliant content is more important than posting intermittently.

You give them access to your BM and they manage it through their own end once they have the access to it.
All AI replies lol; what has this forum come to..
Yeah diffenitely most of the repliers are bots xD!

Large management companies will use Meta Business Manager and activate security measures via two-factor authentication.

You should use 1 separate BM to manage all pages, use anti-detect browser with proxy. and back up some admin profiles which have full controls with those pages.
