Well, your whole infrastructure was down for like 20hours without the possibility to send a ticket since it was down.
Now that you website is up again, many of VPS servers just disappeared from my panel.
I don't think this is a normal thing in hosting industry, at least not for me .
That’s not possible.
Our primary websites are not hosted on our own infrastructure. We operate colocation across three separate datacenters, each with independent infrastructure. Your VPS was hosted on a single node, and unfortunately that node experienced a disk failure
As outlined in our Service Agreement, clients are responsible for maintaining their own backups, as we operate as a privacy-focused, no-logs provider. We understand this situation has been frustrating for you, but this policy is clearly stated.
The affected node hosted 167 VPS instances out of the thousands we manage overall. In response to the incident, we have provisioned replacement VPS instances and added additional months of service as compensation.
We genuinely understand your frustration. However, hardware failures can occur despite preventative measures, and maintaining constructive communication helps us resolve matters more effectively.
I asked for your email to review the situation. I never said you engaged in abusive behaviour. I simply mentioned such review are usually from inpatient or abusive customers. Instead of reaching out via ticket so we can resolve it there.
We spent around 12 hours investigating whether it was possible to retrieve the data. During that time, many customers requested new VPS instances on new nodes, as most of them keep backups and were able to restore their data quickly with minimal downtime
For those who did not have backups, we advised them to wait until we could confirm whether any data recovery was possible. It’s mentioned in agreement, activation emails and in VPS control panel to always backup as were a privacy provider we will not log, store, backup or handle user data
If you haven’t already reached out for replacement please do so so we can compensate extra month on top of remaining time left or we will refund you fully no questions.
