I’m 31, a father of two, and I live in a high-inflation economy. For a decade, I’ve 'failed' at my side projects while working as a Growth Specialist for a local SaaS company. I’m a self-taught dev and SEO guy, so I have the skills but life and bills have always gotten in the way. This is my no-more-excuses journey to a $1k/month blog to give my family the life they actually deserve.

My plan:
After a decade of 'almosts,' I'm done chasing shiny objects. My goal is simple: Build a high-authority resource in the Tech/Automation space that hits the Mediavine threshold ($1k/m baseline) through pure utility. Niches I planned to expand in the future (Blogging, Marketing, Productivity - Digital Entrepreneurship)

I’m not just 'writing articles', I’m solving specific user problems with structured, easy-to-comprehend content and step-by-step walkthroughs. Starting with a deep dive into Automation, covering every 'dark corner' of the niche with piles of free, value-based content. No gatekeeping, no fluff just the stuff I wish I had when I was starting out as a self-taught dev.

I’m sticking with Automation until I’ve built a pillar of ~80 posts (including strategic affiliate guides). Once I’ve established topical dominance and momentum, I’ll pivot into the broader ecosystem (Blogging, Marketing, Productivity).

This isn't a "generalist" site. This is an E-E-A-T play. I’m building a pure image by delivering value first, using walkthroughs and real-world experience to prove I’m not just another AI-generated blog

My Tech Stacks
Astro JS (Frontend - A React Full Stack Framework)
Headless WP (CMS) + GraphQL
Umami - OSS Analytics
Typesense - For search
GA4 - Not yet configured
2 n8n Automations - (to find problems, that needs solutions)
VPS - (4 vCPU, 8GB Ram, 75GB nvme SSD) + Coolify instance for managing the server.
Cursor

My Content Stacks
My brain (of course)
Claude AI
Gemini
Airtable (For Content Calendar)
Canva (For Featured Images + Pinterest)
Kit (For email newsletters + Configured programmatically)
Excalidraw / Miro (For diagrams, and plans)

Current Goal,
  • Get 1k sessions.
  • Get in to Journey
  • Upskill myself

Current Update,
  • Site is on live with 9 contents. (Approximately 10,000+ words)
  • Should build ToS / Privacy Policy / About pages
  • Schemas generated ✅ + Technical SEO ✅ + On-Page SEO ✅ done pretty well. (I don't believe in keyword researches but intent)
  • Static Author box, (because I don't think of building a dynamic since I'm the one who going to write all the contents for now)
  • GA4 not yet configured or the Google Search Console. (planned to do it in the month end once all the necessary pages are built)
  • Once I published ~30 posts, then I start outreach for backlinks and opportunities
  • Umami says I have received 214 views without developer + localhost views
  • I need to sketch my marketing plan tomorrow with Miro or maybe Excalidraw

Alright, let's do this.

You should definitely setup google search console, in order to index your new posts and keep tracks of impressions, clicks, ctr etc...

Best of luck champ, will be following up!
Thanks mate. :)
I like your journey, give your family what they deserve
Good luck.
Thanks mate, trying so hard.

yes mate. I wanted to setup GA4 and Search console by today I guess. You've got a journey here?

1 thing about blogging in 2026, I can say, is ensure your content is a response to user search intent, with solution-driven content and make it in a storytelling style.
Also, using AI is fine, but ensure low plagiarism.

Yes, exactly mate. that's what google loves too! that sorta I'm using AI as my assistant that able to finding grammar mistakes, and clarity of the content, All other strategizing done by me with extensive plan. No fluff stories without meaningful insights on it. I'll add a personal story If I were encountered them as personally, otherwise google can easily finds out which ones are fabricated stories.

Your content looks promising. A lot of technical things. I read via my phone, the hamburger menu does not work.

Also, did you do keyword research before writing? Because as I noticed, you didnt

Following your journey
Thanks mate. :)
Good luck with your journey bro
Aye bro. :)

Yes, I just checked my stats, you were viewing the site xD. and Thanks for the feedback.

Aye, lots of technical things, and the automation seems technical, that's why I broke down into several chunks (with data visualizations) for easier grasping even for a beginner. I forgot to deploy the code for hamburger menu - will push it to the production today. Thanks mate. :D

nah, I didn't do any keyword researches for now, I'm preparing full fledged multiple guides for a single sub-niche based on user's intent and with my personal experience, Once i met the published threshold, then I'll build a Power page, add all contents and it's resources to the Power page - which means One single resource hub that has everything a beginner, intermediate and advanced users want to know.

E.g. Main Niche - Extracting one sub-niche - 20-50 posts - Creating the power page (adding all the links)

So this hub acts like authority on it's own, and high chances of opportunity to get natural backlinks as well.

Well Thanks @vikiendu for bring up this topic. :) and that's a shadow raze right, your PP.

Week 1:
  • About / Terms of Service / Privacy Policy pages are updated.
  • Fixed the hamburger menu.
  • Google analytics & Search console integrated.
  • LLMs.txt for AI discovery.
  • Marketing plan initialized.

Marketing Plan:
  • Finding low-hanging keywords that easier to rank faster, and add to content calendar.
  • This Distribution Sprint
    • I'll look for response opportunities on reddit and quora.
    • Medium (2 Posts per week) - I've got the Medium partner as well.
    • Pinterest (4 custom pints every week)
    • Community posting
  • Building a programmatic library (kinda resource page) - For capturing leads.
  • Daily routine will be surfing forums for 30 - 60 mins, and finding a perfect opportunity to place the links without spamming.
  • LinkedIn Posting (2 - 3 Posts per week) with link.

Current views: 285 (in Umami)

Week #1 Full Update
The 1–2 hours of daily effort is starting to pay off. I’m currently halfway to my goal of 1,000 sessions, though I recognize the need for constant marketing to keep attracting high-quality traffic.

This week, my content output was slightly limited due to delivering a headless website for a client. However, with that project moving forward, my plan for next week is to go "all-out."

To efficient my content pipeline, I built myself 4 different agentic prompts that exclusively work on Claude (paid version, because of tokens and tool calling) and that will handle all the pipeline, I'll be in human-in-loop to review the facts, and vice-versa. This way, I can produce high quality contents every week. Because I run this entire site SOLO. Since it's custom made, I need to develop features, site structures, security handling, DevOps part, and monitoring as well, other than dev work, I need to maintain workflows that running 24/7, also writing content.

Nice project. What tools do you use for keywords research?
Thanks mate, For KW research, I didn't use any just pure intent based, sometimes, I just check whether this intent based keyword has any monthly searches, It is none. I'll use Keyword surfer extension to get a partial idea of a keyword searches.

Good luck buddy. Following this
Thanks for the following mate. :)

Would love to know how you structered you content on your page. Maybe its the language but i had no luck on cortexhub.de (german). Even after a year i had only like 5 clicks a day?
Any chance to get an insight on your content structure?
